"Friendly service, nicely spaced for work or leisure and welcoming atmosphere. Coffee is fantastic. I ordered a simple iced coffee with vanilla and cream and it didn't disappoint. Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially in today's economy! Was surprised to also see they serve food and their menu is also very reasonably priced. Will stop here again for lunch next time."

"DELICIOUS flavors. The affogato with shortbread ice cream was to die for. The employee there tonight was super friendly and helpful. We didn’t buy any truffles, but they looked beautiful— we’ll probably be back later this week to buy souvenirs. They also had lots of cute trinkets and artwork. This place is a gem!"

"Very nice coffee shop. Comfortable and clean, with helpful staff and great coffee and tea. I love that it's not cookie cutter, but more of a relaxed, homey environment. Such a nice alternative to that one on every street corner. Oh and they don't scream out your name, rather they are happy to bring your coffee to the table. It's the little things..."

"Great coffee, great service and very personable staff. You name the drink, Blackrock Coffee Bar can make it for you. I come here daily and enjoy it all. Highly recommended for a shot of caffeine that can't be beat. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a hot or cold cup of liquid joy."

"First off, the two young ladies at the counter weren't super friendly or welcoming but when I stood right in front of the ordering counter one of them immediately assisted me. I call it okay service. This coffee shop is pretty quiet. Most of the bar seating was taken when I arrived at/around 2pm so I went through the glass door to the left (west of the shop) to sit in one of the couches in the Botanical Gardens' facility building next door. They had a good variety of both savory and sweet pastries displayed upfront. Art work (although not too mu) represents nicely at to a coffee shop right at the Gardens. My cappuccino was amazing. The same young lady who took my order made it. She did a great job. Like I said, the service wasn't super great but it wasn't horrible either. I'll definitely come back here when I have an opportunity to do so. Overall it was a decent experience."
