"Arrived early and table allocates to someone else who does not eat so that they put together 2 low pub tables and put us in front of the fireplace!!!! In our minds, we had someone with us who had an electric wheelchair and they were warned of it. Good atmosphere, but it's a pub, it's not a restaurant. Menu looked good, but they try to impress, stick to what you best know, this is usually somewhere for a burger, fish and chips, cake and mash....we had 2 halloumi starters and 1 shared nacho starters....afteros big but halloumi so small...served on tin dishes. Mains, 2 of us had the Rump....served on a sheet metal floor....Make good, but undercooked and ed to cut, served with frits that looked like they were from McDonalds.... very poor, other nets was Borrito, which was good, and other nets was prawns...again not well offered....we did not stay for pudding.... Overpriced for what we actually got."
