"Saturday afternoon, my wife and I wanted to sit on the terrace and the hostess was very hesitant to wipe off a dirty table we asked for because it was the only one right in the sun. She sighed under her breath and rolled her eyes like a total inconvenience for her. Service was also overwhelming, seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else. Food was fine, not the best. It was often at this point, but it really feels like it went down late."

"I ordered the mushroom ravioli via the phone for pickup. The person on the line asked if I would like soup or salad. I said I was not aware that it came with this and asked if I could have a Caesar salad and it must have been extra without the person telling me because my nineteen dollars pasta came to twenty-five dollars. What would have been good would have been the portion size reasonable, but the pasta was so small that I was still starving. I went in to politely ask if they were sure that I had received the full portion size and if there was a larger pasta, I could order in the future. The person who worked me told me that other pastas were bigger, because the Ravioli is “richer” and that I had received the right size. Very disappointed by the size. The taste was excellent. But not worth the money."

"I haven't actually had pizza here in a whole year, but since this family place doesn't change anything, it's still the best pizza you'll have in the area. The Pino Special is just that, very special. Loads of pepperoni, bacon, onions and more cheese than you should really eat make this pizza "special". You'll feel stuffed but very satisfied afterwards. They also have a great white pizza that's perfect as a late night treat, or as a snack with white wine. The atmosphere is definitely "mom and pop", which is what it is, but perfect for this place. If you're looking for white linens and silver cutlery, you're obviously lost... but if you enjoy great food, you've come to the right place. I can't say enough good about it. The staff are all friendly, and will even chat with you when things slow down a bit. Give it a try, you'll thank me for it."

"We came here for a friend's surprise birthday. The party organizer called the restaurant ahead of time and got to come in early and have our little corner decorated. Always loved their warm house bread and butter and filling ourselves up. 2 of my favorite menu items that I have in the pictures below are the creamy gnocchi with spinach and crispy shallots and the funghi pizza. I always ask for the extra sauce to dip the bread in after and clean it up. Overall food was great and do check out their other menu items like the fungi pasta.Vegetarian options: I've been here when I was vegan. They have a nice vegan menu offered, and it wasn't that bad. They should definitely expand a bit to add more options into their pasta side.Parking: There is parking available as it is in the plaza. It's not really crowded, but there might be a small walk to the restaurant if anythingWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located on the ground floor and there is wheelchair parking available."

"I used to stop here once a week for a take out breakfast. Now I stop twice a week for a take out breakfast.I left a comment on the management change a while ago and I promised to review Scrambles again after a few months to see if anything has changed.The staff is very friendly, they get to know you and what you want very quickly. The food is still fantastic as is the coffee. The new owner does not make pies like the old owner did, but my waist line is probably happy they don't.I even asked them to change the recipe for a toasted western. I like green peppers but they don't like me, so I asked if they would substitute the pepper for mushrooms and it tastes pretty good. They even named the new sandwich after me and they have offered it as a daily special. Go over to Scrambles and ask for the Henry sandwich. Let me know if you like it."

"We 've ordered here a few times but never wrote a review about it... We usually get their staple cheese burgers a milkshake...Sometimes at certain hours, they have a promo where you can get 5x hamburgers for like $20-$22 price range... The staff is friendly and the burgers are decent as they grill it there and you can pick your toppings like a 'harveys '...We usually like to have grilled onions and greek yogurt Tsisikis sauce...Prob mis-spelled that...Sry! The milkshake is good at times depending on who makes it...Sometimes its night and thick but sometimes its a bit runny... There 's comparable or better burger joints than this one we 've tried in the past, but I guess in Durham this one is decent. Food (Burgers) 3/5"
