"Lunch, 2 people, €31.80 also the ristorante milano is just a few meters away from asfeld's pedestrian zone and almost still closer to the asfelden railway station no hundred steps directly from there. the same word as so often: often it never returned today it was so far. the outside view had never spoken so much to us before and the first impression after entering the restaurant seemed to confirm the impression. we were standing in front of a counter, from which it went into a small room with four to six tables, to a little unpleasant after smoke odor. we wanted to take a place, but did not know whether we were allowed to occupy one of the four or even six tables, and so it went back to theke, where a young lady with the words welcomed us a table for two? then she told us in the other direction with the note that this was the smoker room there. and the non-smoking gas room surprised us with its high deck, columns, arches and wall painting. all beautiful warm medium sea as well as the table decoration and the cover. only one table in the large room was occupied, and so we saw a beautiful little corner with a bank. the cards were quickly entered and the drinks quickly bitter lemon and a dark wine beer recorded as fields and then we studied the menu. my favorites had today lust on pizza and so my attention in the card was directed on the cut meat dishes from the pig. the almost matching pizza was quickly found: with salami, ham, mushrooms, paprika and swirl, but without salami. and so it was noticed! again the various names of the meat were somewhat unclear. were there anything fried on the piece? So I asked the young lady about the difference between black filet, black medaillons and delicate black filet. I was recently attentive to the great red letters pizzeria. that was new to me. home was gloomed, and it turned out: yes, in the hotel for recreation there is a gastronomy with Italian effects. the data entered at gg were outdated. in 2010, when the entry was created, hotel and restaurant were not operated long. after about five years emptying it was reopened in september 2013 after renovation and nine months rebuild under the name esmer hotel esmer restaurant. that was past us. hotel for recreation we have often read about passing through the house, but that it also attracts gastronomy, something goes down. here's gone! so today it was the total contrast to yesterday. today in the middle of asfeld we were the only guests, yesterday in rural asfeld old castle it thrives in the gas room before living. from the beginning: parking was possible well on the road of the greenbergstraße, a next road of the road as fields through the road. I must confess, I did not find the offer particularly aesthetic. in any case had not been saved. tastefully she was between ok and good. as I spooned my wobble soup and fought with the cheese, my dearest destroyed her by lethalate and was very happy with it. no iceberg salad, various leaf salads, but in different fresh condition. but only a small disc and a small tomate. no comparison to a day before another place. then it took again a small but pleasant dae, until pizza and chicken breast found the way to our table. I had to swallow in the pizza because I was clear that I couldn't do it today! not because of the size, but only because of the mass of the cheese that covered the pizza and almost all else suffocated, and similar to the soup hermetically sealed. the teig was tastefully good, at the rande also chess, but then in the middle, soaked and rather baked too little. the ply was sufficient, the peperoniwurst nicely sharp, paprika from consistency and taste probably deep-cooled as well as the mushrooms. tastefully ok, but simply too much cheese. almost half the pizza I took home, and then I could look forward to dinner. the young chicken breast was grilled and tasted good. there were mushrooms in a creamy sauce that had been a little more tied and would have won too much salt. in the associated pommes our ghosts divorced. my wife found her big, I also of the optics, but they were too fat and also more content, as I just say, almost as if there was no content, so kind of hollow. No matter, my wife was thinking another, and they sounded her well and that counts! Now, we were saturated and finished and ordered the bill. and my pizza was packed for the home way. I no longer know why, but with a last look at her jazz bottle my wife noticed that the durability date was stated on 23.10.2015 so tomorrow, no, we are not one of the people who are strict on it. there are so many things that are still edible for weeks and months later, in so far lost with us almost nothing! but it was remarkable to see this. they can see how little gay here is drunk, and while I see it on the bottle I see: there are 0.2 l, while on the bill 0.25 l (I don't know if there is 0.25 l bottle. we wish the restaurant more guests! more advertising and a revised internet presence could help! the missing display of opening times and rest days has made the visit for us a happy game. the smell as it is in the menu: French fumig soup with cheese baked 3,90 € pizza 'with all ' with salami, front ham, champignons, peperoniwurst, paprika wobbles 7,00 € (big yäger chicken breast fillet with pommes frites and salat 9.00 € bitter lemon 0.25 l was asked and nobody looked out of it. or whether there are any drinks missing, etc. otherwise the damm was from the reception and obviously also responsible for the service was very nice!"

"(a lunch with two people for 29.80 euro) we were very early in asfeld on the road and therefore very early in the midday starving. located directly on the market, it offers a series of exhibitors for warm kitchen and various. parking you will find with some luck also in a minute(s) near the market during the payment, because the free first 30 minutes are certainly not enough to lunch. in the market caffe offers itself as very large, high, with warm colorful brighter space, with various tables and benches. the first impression is, they are in an overhauled empty shop only missing the stairs. we were looking for a nice bank at the passage to the caffe. the wall behind us garnished with various photos of famous personalities that have already visited this house, as well as various certificates. the service performance came extremely flashing on our table and we ordered fast drinks and a homemade potato cream soup as appetizer for me, then in the rest study the card. all very appealing sounds we decided to carve with pommes and salat. for my wife fried chicken breast with tomato basilikum sauce, for me the with cooked ham, champignons and cheese baked carving wallis . drinks and also before came fast. the announced homemade potato cream suppe has very disappointed my expectations. She was okay, but she wasn't. very watery and without taste. the most important food then exceeded expectations. but first came the small salate plate. freshly prepared, attractively prepared, delicious. shortly afterwards followed the chicken breast and the carving wallis. pommes both well managed and delicious. the wood carved wall is like tasty to house, fried in a pan and baked with fresh champignons. bravo! (and again we remember the dose mushroom recently on a pizza in a place where we really do not expect it) friteusen carving with standards sauce I can no longer see! also the fried chicken breast delicious and juicy tasting. really good. in this view, the non-speaking potato cream soup falls only a little into weight and we still give a good taste for the day-to-day meal, because ok is too little to take into account the main course! "We stopped in Alsfeld as a mid way stop between Frankfurt and Braunschwieg. A beautiful old town and a great place to have a break. The restaurant was in the middle of the old town square. A very nice restaurant with a well priced german...menu specialising in potato dishes. I am not the biggest potato fan but I loved it!!"

"Auf der Durchreise in den Norden hat uns bei Alsfeld der Hunger übermannt und so s Häuten Worms was uns TripAdvisor so in der Gegend empfiehlt. Dabei sind wir auf dieses sensationelle Italienische Restaurant gestoßen. Beim durchsehen der sehr gut sortierten Karte entschied ich mich für einen Salat mit Putenbrust. Und mein Partner für Gnocchi mit Tomatensauce. Mein Salat hat mich dann echt überrascht, denn er wurde, im als Schüssel gebackenem, Pizzabrot serviert! Wirklich köstlich das Dressing. Mir persönlich wäre es lieber gewesen, die Pute wäre in Streifen geschnitten als als ganzes Stück üben auf. Dieses Restaurant kommt auf jeden Fall auf die Merkliste. Da gehen wir gerne wieder hin"
