"Really delicious. My first time trying vol a vent. The gravy was full of mushrooms and small meat balls with chunks of chicken. The pastry was crisp and everything was hot. I enjoyed the salad dressing. Fries were kind of boring though. Mayonnaise for the fries. The house Chardonnay was good. Music was a mix of 80s and today's music. The serving staff was friendly."

In the entrance we took poultry liver at the porto @7.50€ of the menu and the gray shrimp bisque @11.50€ of suggestions. At the same time tasty and properly prepared, even if the liver sauce could have been a little more concentrated and a little more connected to better stick around the meat, making it perfect. In main dishes a beautiful piece of six ribs @28€, a perfectly cooked blue-chaud with jumped mushrooms @5€ and a piece of bearnese salmon sauce (with confite tomato) and purée of potatoes. The salmon could have been roasted a little more translucent, we think that bearnese was not really freshly prepared and that there was no confite tomato? The meat was very tasty with a full meat taste and meat fat was just as tasty as the meat itself. Unfortunately, neither the waiters nor the kitchen could tell what race came from this perfect six ribs... The mushrooms had just been fried, but they would have been even better in real butter. The proposed non-home red glass, a Biscardo Neropasso Rosso IGT Veneto, was a success with meat. Mooie kaart met Vlaamse gerechten. Als voorgerechten namen we kipp removes met porto @7.50€ van de kaart en de bisque van grijze garnaal @11.50€ van de suggesties. Allebei lekker en correct bereid alhoewel de saus van de levertjes wat geconcentreerder mocht en wat meer gebonden zodat ze beter rond het vlees zou plakken wat het geheel perfect zou maken. Als hoofdgerechten een mooi stuk zesrib @28€, perfect bleu-chaud gebakken met gebakken paddenstoelen @5€ in een stuk zalm met bearnaisesaus (met gekonfijte tomaat) in puree. De zalm mocht iets glaziger gegrild zijn, de Béarnaise was volgens ons niet ultrasto bereid en er was geen gekonfijte tomaat te bespeuren? Het vlees was zeer lekker met een volle vleessmaak en het vlees-vet even lekker als het vlees zelf. Spijtig kon noch de bediening, noch de keuken vertellen van welk ras die perfecte zesrib kwam... De paddenstoelen waren juist gebakken maar in echte boter waren ze nog lekkerder geweest. Het voorgestelde glas rode niet-huiswijn, een Biscardo Neropasso Rosso IGT Veneto, was een schot in de roos bij het vlees. Het is een appassimento (deels van gedroogde druiven gemaakt) en is op het Internet verkrijgbaar aan ~9€ per fles."
