"Went here with some friends one evening for a few quiet drinks. It seems X-Trend is trying to be a café, restaurant, and bar all at once with no definable focus on either of the three, and it ultimately doesn't prove to be very good at any of them. A very studenty place which seems to be trying to encompass too many 'cool' and 'hip' trends, and not doing a good job of it. One member of our group asked for a hot chocolate and got a cappuccino. And to top it all off, there's a particularly large metres-wide picture on one wall of a man smoking a cigarette. Why? Is it one of the 'cool' things which is supposed to appeal to students? Nobody wants to look at a huge canvas print of a man smoking while they're trying to eat."

"Excellent. We were really excited. The homemade dishes and free appetizer were very good. There was nothing to be judged negatively at dinner. Very happy and definitely again. We were treated very friendly, the food was very fast and we were also completely fed. The atmosphere is also impeccable."

"I know how Indian curry should taste, example birmingham balti near where I lived. also were in goa india. the gandhi was the worst curry I ever tasted in years of eating curry. no fresh spices, from a glass. I could. on and on, but obviously many people here don't know how a REAL course tastes, not a curry sausage. I will not waste my time. the food was filthy and very expensive. avoid them at all costs, and I can post pictures, but they will want you to be sick up) so take my word on their own costs."

"Arriving in the city and not knowing any place to eat, I looked to TripAdvisor for help. I notice this restaurant had good reviews in English unfortunately I don't read German, the not good reviews. I looked at the photos of food a location...and it seemed to be a nice place. In interior is very charming and comfortable but once I received my ordered I was badly surprised and disappointed.... what was supposed to be a medium-rare rack of lamb with rosemary was a well done rack covered with a tomato sauce. I asked the waiter there most be an error why and showed the TripAdvisor photo and asked why the difference? ... he just raised his shoulders, chuckled and walked away. So for the future dinners of Al Duomo please see my photos what their true rack of lamb looks like, and their not so lovely faded flowers behind the cold vegetables. Good luck for you that want to eat a rack of lamb as was shown in their publicity photo."

"The rating varies between 1 and 5 stars. It's unusual. We hadn't experienced anything negative. The service staff and the owner were super friendly, flink and chat. How was Sunday lunch and the restaurant wasn't so crowded. Healthy ambience and very clean, a small new color would not be a disadvantage. Food Top! Delicious and freshly prepared. Portions not too small and not too large. Menu can be overlooked and this is good. Absolutely nothing to complain. Obese price level, certainly in debt from the automotive industry. Parking available. Always happy"
