"Very, very good, well-presented, tasty food at reasonable prices, (overpriced wine, which is normal. nice clean modern place. BUT unsmiling, unfriendly, brusque barman/patron, (and 2 out of 3 similar waiting staff). The barman and/or maître d’ in any establishment really sets the atmosphere and can...make or break the experience. Not impressive here ."

"Well, honestly, after having lived 12 years in France I never thought I would use all those words in one sentence.... but I did! This restaurant is based on the island L 'Isle Saint Laurent , a little bit South of the city center on the Rue...de Strasbourg, a street where there is lots of choice of restaurants. Having decided for this one, we were welcomed by the chef himself, who consulted us very nicely about a vegetarian choice. It is not on the menu, but he is used to cooking veggie and made us enjoy our meal thoroughly! The menus are at 23 € each. My colleague chose a meat option and I was served a surprise vegetarian meal, which was really phantastic. Starting with a nice salad and followed by a mix of fried vegetables that were spot on. We really enjoyed our stay. The waitresses made us feel at home and were always there when needed. Price service ratio was very good and I can highly recommend this place, especially to foreigners, as they do speak English here. We will be back!"

"This afternoon, I took the urge of a simple terrace coffee, in a nice place. What I can find exactly in the Galant glass. The service was fast, the good coffee, in a place as pleasant as St Vincent's Square, this place has everything of a good address. If you ever want a good beer of character, I recommend the pietra, with pleasant flavors of chestnut, which this address serves."
