"A late choice for our last night in Colmar and we had a wonderful meal. We chose the set menu, it was such good value, and every aspect of the meal was perfect. You could tell that the chef took great care in selecting only the best and freshest produce and bringing them together in delicious plates. We were unsure as to the wine and the waitress (owner) allowed us to try various ones to find the one we best preferred. A definite gastronomic treat, and so reasonably priced. Do not miss this place - a short walk from the pedestrian area but worth the effort."

"We stopped here for an evening dessert after eating our main meal a short distance away. Set in a charming street location and offering a huge range of not only ice creams and sundaes but fresh cakes, tarts and meringues as well, this was just what we were after! Service was quick and friendly, our redcurrant meringue pies were delicious and the coffee was fresh and tasty. Just the ticket!"

"I really enjoyed the location next to the Cathedral and ate outside on 2 different evenings. Young and enthusiastic staff worked well together as a team and my experience was very enjoyable each night. I had Veal the first night and some delicious Pork Ribs the next. Desserts, Wine and Beer were all memorable."

"We went to Meistermann for its special Christmas Eve menu and the whole experience was superb - the excellent food and wine, the service and the friendly owners (and the place was packed). For this occasion they only provided one special menu so I am only able to give a view on this but I feel sure that their every day menu would be just as good. Special mention for the Tournedos de boeuf and the Supreme to Sandre. Again because this was a one-off menu for a special occasion I feel unable to give a view on the restaurants value for money for its normal menu(s). I would however certainly go again should I return to Colmar - possibly on a trip down the Route des Vins in the summer!"

"I went to this restaurant looking for a good tarte flambée and I defintely found it! This place is very simple and nice, the staff is friendly and the menù is wide enough to satisfy almost everybody. The food is very good! I recommend this place to anybody looking for good traditional food in Colmar."
