"This evening on a proposal from Coworker. Today was everything you can eat fish on Sunday. The fish was perfect! No heavy bread, delicious and crisp. The hush puppies had onions in them I like. The okra was not mushy. Oh, and the Squash-Medley was very delicious. Sweet tea was also a thumb up. We'll try the steak. Our wonderful waitress Tallia was so helpful to answer all our questions. Sometimes they also have live music. Great place to watch sports in their very cool bar. There are exterior seats and open exterior seats. Everything around the Great Restaurant!"

"Loved the variety of tacos! My husband ordered the fried chicken and smoked pork tacos. I had the brisket and steak tacos. All were delicious! We also enjoyed the flight of salsas. The staff and the owners were very friendly as well. Worth the 40 minute drive and we will go back! "

"Papa Nick is a great restaurant which I hope has the opportunity to open when all of the pandemic has been resolved. It is a gem for Sherman who until Papa Nick opened had no restaurant of this class. The food was fantastic with some of the best and generous cuts of steak. Their ribeye cut was phenomenal. I look forward to seeing them soon!"

"First off? FANTASTIC pies. The crust doesn?t get soggy with many toppings?. Addicting. And a great price at $11 My go to pie: Magic Oil, Spicy Marina, Pepperoni and Ham, sweet red peppers, mushrooms and fresh sliced jalapeños oh, and MozzarellaCheeeese! It really could easily be a 5 star place, but they are missing the boat on a couple things: 1) Drink station is waytoo small for the business. Ice is almost always out when we go, and the machines are constantly leaking onto the floor. Thebottled root beer is amazing but I prefer it over ice and it?s hot or miss if I get that. 2) Even brand new, it?s a simpleconcept which is great for the owner. However, after being opened just a short time it?s already starting to show wear and tearinside on the menus, decorations peeling off the wall, etc. Just needs a little more attention to detail but overall fantastic.We come a couple times a week!!"
