"I came here for my birthday lunch and it was lovely. The Eggs Benedict with fries was gorgeous, and the puddings were very delectable. The service was a little slow but as we weren't in a rush it didn't impact our visit this time."

"We really enjoyed visiting this pub. The staff made a huge fuss of the dogs, brought them treats and a water bowl and were generally fantastic. My wife enjoyed a delicious brie and onion tart and I enjoyed stuffed mushrooms, followed by a minced beef hotpot served with root vegetables. We will definitely return because we were made to feel so welcome."

"Someone needs to tell them it's not the 70's! Stewed tea is horrible! Retro is in but grubby retro is definitely out. I really don't understand how pictures of pie, chips and beans are appealing????"

"Our first visit and one, I am sure, of many more to come.The food here is truly delicious and authentic. Daniella the host is welcoming, chatty, helpful and very keen to make sure your visit is perfect.The Italian sausage with mushrooms and the squid starters were expertly cooked.For main course my partner asked if the chef could prepare pasta alla norma. Yes not a problem was the response and it was utterly delicious, especially with the home made pasta. I had the pizza alla norma of which the toppings were fresh and perfectly cooked.Now then! The tirasmisu! Home made by the chef himself? YES! The best tiramisu I have ever eaten? YES!A perfect ending to the best italian meal we have had outside of Italy.Keep up the good work. See you again very soon."

"Having contacted the club we knew there were no tee times so we visited on a sunday morning knowing the course would be busy. There was a queue on the first tee so we had breakfast baps/baguettes which were excellent. We thought £13 a fair price but maybe offer juniors a discount ? You want them to come back. Course was in good nick and very tricky in places. Could do with better signage to assist first time visitors. Thoroughly enjoyable round, thank you very much."
