"Janet, the owner was very welcoming. Christine, our server, remembered us as her first guests on her first day of employment in May, 2021. Christine works another, full-time, position yet she was cheerful, efficent, and very accommodating of my request to taste two wines to make my selection. That woman moves like she is on wheels! Food and wine were tasty and reasonably priced."

"Good cheesesteak. They get the ingredients right wiz and fried onions (with the option to add more). A lot of places say philly cheesesteak but are way off the essence is here. The winner for me was the pirogies. Staff was friendly and food was ready on time. Cool place."

"We stopped in for lunch on 4/11. It wasn’t very busy, but it took almost 45 minutes to receive our food. The food was over cooked. Tough and dry. They obviously had a new cook, as we saw several orders returned and the cook looked overwhelmed. We were so disappointed with our visit this time. We’ve come to jess’s For years. And have never been disappointed by the food.... until today. I don’t think we’ll be back."

"The vegan menu is not on the physical menu, but it can easily be found on its website. The servers are great about it and were even double checking certain things for us when we noticed that we are vegan (because the rolls contain milk powder, so it could not try). All we had was great; recommend the japchae as a duck, especially as a filling meal! Both vegan protein options were great (the tofu and mushroom)"
