"Cassius, an Italian restaurant in Jasper AB, is a very nice and clean establishment. PROS: Great food and large portions Beautiful and friendly staff Warm ambience Clean washrooms Free access to a filled animal museum of the local animal world in the cellar of the restaurant. CONS: napkins should be bigger and more fleshy. The little paper napkin we received was inadequate."

"Came to eat in the dining room and watch hockey in the sports bar after. We were seated next to the window with a great view of Patricia Street and beyond. I had little appetite so chose French onion soup, a personal fave. Spouse ordered a stir fry and I had some white wine on the side. Spouse LOVED his stir fry. My French onion soup was incredibly bad. The broth was greasy and oversalted, with slimy bits of onion under a huge dollop of largely tasteless cheese (mozza maybe? . With trepidation I prodded the crouton or baguette within with my spoon, and noted it looked and yielded like a dish sponge. Undaunted, I took a bite and then another just to be sure it was *all* like that. The dish sponge comparison held up throughout. I limited the remainder of the experience to a few spoonsful of melted cheese, and then stuck to my wine thereafter. Server did not come by to ask how we liked our meals, but then again she hadn 't noticed when I put the dirty knife that had greeted me when I sat down, far to the other side of the table. No matter I didn 't need it for soup, right? She also said nothing when clearing my little touched meal, which I found even more astonishing than the soup itself. Oh, well, I said to my spouse, I don 't want her to have a bad night. As it was she had her hands full with a flirtatious customer hanging around her station for much of our meal. I make French onion soup at home all the time, by the way. I 'm no great chef, but even on my first go it was orders of magnitude better than the one I had here. Fortunately for all, the sports bar was swell, with three huge screens allowing us to track two hockey games, and a cocktail special that tasted like cinnamon hearts and washed away the dish sponge onion salt aftertaste."

"Had an amazing dining experience here this past weekend! My family and I had a wonderful dinner on the patio on a gorgeous Sunday evening. We were greeted by friendly warm smiles and hellos from our server and the owner and the quality of service was outstanding all the way through! The food and beverages were awesome and despite having ordered prime rib here at least a dozen times over the last few years, I have never EVER been disappointed! If you like prime rib like I like prime rib…you’ve got to try it here! The restaurant patio were quite busy as it was a Sunday night, but the quality of the experience and food was still absolutely stellar! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant and it’s amazing staff anytime your in Jasper. It won’t disappoint!"

"We picked this restaurant as Trip Advisor had it listed as the #1 steakhouse in Jasper and the patio is on the Main Drag in Jasper so the people watching is great.Pro's - our server was very polite. - view on the patio is amazing. Cons - my son's order was messed up twice. We spent a lot of money (ordered beers and ceasars with the meal. My son's order was prime rib with au jus on the side, along with the mushroom and onions on the side. it arrived with everything dumped on top. He spoke to the manager and sent it back. it was returned with the mushrooms and onions scraped off with au just still on top. When he raised it again, she chastised him telling him he needed to specify that when he ordered. He did - twice, and since the prime rib was so expensive we wanted it done right. - my husbands medium rare steak arrived medium well done. After the hassles with my son. he just sucked it up and ate it. He also ordered mushrooms that never arrived, but they charged us for them on the bill. - and speaking of the bill, we paid a lot for our entrees, I was shocked to see that we were charged $3 for mushrooms and $2 for sautéed onions?I rarely do negative review. At the end of the day, we are easy going. We dine out often and recognize that mistakes are made. The reality is, we rang up a huge bill and ordered expensive entrees - it wouldn't been nice if the restaurant had better customer service and made it right. We didn't need a discount, but don't chastise a customer for wanting the meal the way they ordered it (especially when they address it politely)."

"We have never eaten anything but breakfast here so I can not comment on that. But for the last 25 years whenever we have been in jasper we have breakfast here before heading home. The decor was old 25 years ago and looks exactly the same now. On easter monday it was near empty with only 2 other tables taken plus a group of local men hanging out having coffee.This time it was only my husband and myself. We each had an eggs benedict style dish. Mine was eggs athabasca which replaces the ham with cream cheese and sauteed mushrooms. They asked how I wanted my eggs done and got it perfect. The hashbrowns were actually homestyle potatoes and very tasty. We were both happy. Our servers were prompt and friendly.They do serve other things beside eggs and in the past my kids have enjoyed yoghurt and granola parfaits as well as waffles and pancakes."

"Excellent food and excellent service. The bison ribeye was so tender, cooked to the perfection. The steak has the garlic sauce on top and the mac and cheese was so good. The portion was big and I had to take some home. We will definitely...go back again."
