"Went to the Sawmill to celebrate our anniversary, with our inlaws. Two of us ordered the buffalo burger, one of us ordered a rack of lamb, and one of us ordered the prime Rib. All with a side of honey-garlic chicken wings.It was absolutely delicious, all of it! I swear their wings are the best in town. Crispy and not coated in thick breading.The lamb was cooked perfectly (medium-well), and the accompanying gravy was delicious.The burgers were charred to perfection, giving a slight burnt taste - very, very yummy! Burger's were juicy and meaty, and the bun was so on point.Prime rib was also cooked perfectly to order. Served with a HUGE Yorkshire pudding (I'm British, and I've never seen a Yorkshire pud so large!) and a demi glace that was so, so rich and flavourful it was definitely made in house and not from a packet.The house dry-red wine was very delicious and worth every cent ($3.50 a glass I think; it was one of their specials). Pleasantly surprised as many places pass off abysmal wines as their 'house specials'. Service from both Billy and Kelsey was awesome. Both very friendly and personable, and very attentive. Glasses were never empty. Food came hot. Everything was perfect. Billy had an awesome sense of humour and had us laughing several times. We came away with full stomachs and a smile on our faces! Would've tried their desserts but we had a homemade a lemon-meringue pie waiting for us at home.The Sawmill remains my favourite place in Lloydminster to dine. The food and service is worth every penny. Here's to many prosperous years ahead of them!"

"Really nice place with really good eating. I think it would be better if they and their guests share their meal here, as this does not all eat at once like a western restaurant, but how it was made. also do not bring lowered cars into this restaurant, as there are massive pots on the parking lot. all in all but a rather great place. would recommend."

"I understand it is a truck stop, but don't put pictures of your food on a menu if the actual dish looks NOTHING like it. I love mushrooms, and ordered the mushroom and cheese omelette. The picture showed a folded omlette generously covered in sliced mushrooms with golden brown hash browns next to it. After driving 14 hours I was kind of looking forward to a nice breakfast. Well, I defy you to find a mushroom in the concoction I received and golden white is not cooked. I expected more. No, not more food, just.....you know....more. $35 for two breakfasts......ouch. My son quite enjoyed his French toast bringing the score to average."
