"My husbands 68th birthday. He wanted oysters , they were so small !! Disappointed ! He got the fish , shrimp oyster plate. Had better fish , shrimp were okay , oysters were small but moist. I’m really upset because I told our waitress it was his birthday, she said we will bring him cheesecake ! I thought wonderful !! Got the cheesecake , it was okay. Then the ticket came while I went to the restroom. My husband took care of it we were out.. Got home looked at my ticket they charged for that Cheesecake ! The one the waitress said they would bring ! I didn’t order it . I tried to call but the line is busy , I will call again or go by on Monday !! Ridiculous!"

"Unbelievably delicious! I drove past this place on the way to Houston and thought it neat to actually drive into or thru the restaurant to order and pick up food. Stellar customer service and hospitality and OMG flavor. A place that actually seasons the fish before frying and not too much salt; just right. Plenty of food for one order as well. Next time I’m in Texas this stop will be worth the trip. And reasonably priced."

"Highly disappointed in the service and food. My friend order the beef steak smothered in gravy. I ordered mine to go. The salad she received and steak was plated so horribly. Her steak was over cooked and burnt. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location. Oh I also canceled my to go order. Lufkin, TX do better!!!"

"Food was good but manager walked over to our table to see what we were drinking, I had water so the waiter didn't charge me for a drink but manager went out of his way to make sure. Will not be going back."

"Jacob, Morgan, and Andrew were absolutely wonderful. The food is fantastic, we had the Alfredo with chicken and chicken fried brisket with broccoli rice casserole, backed squash, mashed potatoes, and greenbeans. We also have the fried green tomatoes, skillet cornbread, and pecan pie and mama's special butter cake."

"Definitely looked ok, but was just average. Brown gravy was not good. Could have been better with the cream gravy on the potatoes. Service was average, had to ask for a drink refill after waiting for a bit longer than I should. Overall disappointed."

"Eating is good. Service is always great. But the ladies toilets need something refreshing. 150$ mirror paint the door and use some bleach to clean floors walls.. It would be so beautiful. But otherwise it feels dirty and there's nothing worse."
