"We were 'walk ins ' on a crowded night. Notwithstanding that the place was buzzing we were shown to a table quickly and throughout the evening, enjoyed attentive and pleasant service. I started with Garlic Mushrooms probably the best I 've ever had. My wife had Scampi that she declared to be delicious while I enjoyed the 'surf and turf '. Everything was timely and courteous the staff really score 100%. Delightful!"

"Sister and I went for the Steak Night on Friday 18.06.2021 and the steaks and accompanying dishes were amazing. I had the fillet medium, and sister had sirloin medium so so yummy. Service was exemplary, and staff so so friendly a credit to the wonderful owners and hosts Pauline and Harry who really do go beyond the extra mile in ensuring all their guests feel welcome and well fed in a lovely historic environment. Its like a home from home atmosphere. Thank you ALL"

"My family and I (party of 16 in total) ate dinner here at The Oliver Restaurant. I was very impressed with the variety of choices on the A Lá Carte menu. The restaurant wasn't too busy as it was Midweek, therefore we got great service and attention from Lauren and Dáithí. The majority of our party chose steaks which were very tasty and cooked to each person's individual liking. The side portions were delicious also. There was a good choice of desserts and these were enjoyed by everyone. A minor disadvantage was that, we found the restaurant lighting to be a bit dark but this did not spoil our enjoyment by any means. I would definitely return to The Oliver for food and drinks and I would recommend anyone to try it."

"Cafolla’s is a large local caffe that makes big burger, beautiful crispy chips and my opinion after the best fish and chip in the city, in a golden bubbly batter. the employees are very pleasant and know the menu well that is always a plus. my only criticism is that the food is a little overcooked, especially sausages, with a light start. the landscape in the inner could also really light up with something, as the atmosphere is a little drab. all in all, great eating, a well-reviewed menu and pleasant staff. highly recommended."

"This little place in Newry is hard to find, and if you told someone about it i doubt theyd know where you're talking about! but i would take every one of my family and friends here if i could. The food in here is absolutely beautiful with hefty portion sizes for such a small price. I fed me and 2 others in here for under a tenner. The staff are always up for a bit of craic and everything is done for you so quickly! Such an odd place to have a restaurant but honestly one of the best. I can't get enough of the place and i can see myself going more and more frequently. especially with such a range of things on the menu to try."
