"Food sucked, I got the sampler plate and it was terrible. I think it was microwaved. Buffalo wings and stuffed potatoes. The fried pickles and onion rings tasted old and oiley. Drinks were ok, nothing to go back"

"Staff and the environment were fabulous and very helpful at our first visit ever, Polly's Pies. The strawberry limonade was refreshing, and our meals were served in time. We need to discuss the huge cinnamon roll, which was highly recommended by other, regular patrons of the institution and the staff. Our beautiful waitress offered her favorite spin, on this classic favorite, by adding strawberries and whipped cream DELICIOUS!!! The host helped us select one of the many tempting cakes before we sat, and once our meal was over, our freshly baked Apple Crisp Pie was delivered to our table. You have to go to breakfast. I will go back to lunch and dinner, so look for my reviews!"

"Nice place, but very expensive. It wasn't worth doing the replacement of a waffle instead of pancakes. Think it might be about $3 more the most it was almost $9. $3 less than what the waffle costs from itself, and ask for bananas to coat me $3 more. Very expensive waffle. The taste of my food was okay. Our waitress was nice, but hard to find when we needed things. I wouldn't think the place was all that. Not sure I'm coming back to visit."

"This place is just ok. The pizza was very tasty. Our table ordered a chicken and spinach pizza. They were out of spinach. There is literally a grocery store about 2 blocks away down 6th Street so it blows my mind how a restaurant can be out of anything unless it is some specialty item. Tons of cheese and great flavor on the pizza. We substituted ham for the unavailable spinach. We also had a shrimp pasta dish, the veal parmigiana, and a prime rib plate. The proteins were all done well and tasty. The prime rib was tender, juicy, and medium rare just as ordered. Then came the side dish pasta and red meat sauce and the pasta with the veal. That's where this place falls flat on it's face. The sauce is horrific. Had a weird after taste and almost the flavor of raisins or prunes. No flavor of garlic or basil and not good at all. That's like going to a Mexican restaurant and they have bad salsa. They also did not drain the pasta well so the bottom of the dish was just swimming in water and the sauce would not even stick to the pasta. We may go back again for the pizza but that is about it. Service was attentive and friendly but if the food isn't great it doesn't really matter especially when you spend nearly $200 for 4 people."
