"We had the great pleasure of having lunch at l'Escale. We arrived quite early and the place was still empty. In no time were all tables occupied. The staff were very friendly, especially Vincent who arranged to add a special wine to our menu... We enjoyed an excellent and fresh three course meal, a glass of wine and a cup of coffee for the outrageous price of 13.50€ . For this price the quality of the ingredients and the dish was spectacular. We have a chance to chat a bit with the chef who is a bigger than life kind of woman. This restaurant really made our day."
