"After parking for the ferry we needed to eat as we had not eaten since the evening before. Being pasta I decided this was a good quick choice. The restaurant is on the front and the menu looked OK , even though we are not...massive pizza pasta lovers. The waiter was good and friendly but was a tad overworked looking after all the outside tables. We ordered drinks and our meals I ordered the telephone' pasta which was basically a pasta with tomato and mozzarella. This arrived quite a bit before my husbands pizza with mushrooms and crispy' pancetta. I had to ask for some olives which the nice waiter got from the bar next door! And times I asked for black pepper and some grated parmesan before it was given to me. My pasta was thick stodgy and glutinous and I had to chisel it off the bowl that it was stuck to. The sauce was fine but needed more seasoning and seeing spaghetti mixed up with it I did wonder what pot and spoon had been used to shovel it on the plate. My husbands pizza was floppy' and soggy with a distinct lack of crispiness in the soggy bacon! and there was far too much dough around the edge with not enough topping. It was edible but have had better supermarket pizza's for a third of the price, equally the so called flat telephone mess of pasta. The only reason I upped a star was the nice red wine, olives and waiter. Definitely a miss on our next visit in January, for over you can get better elsewhere in town."

"The food is excellent. We had a beef carpaccio as a starter that was super tasty, one of the best carpaccios I ever had (with avocado). The waiter also brought us baked goods. As the main course we had pasta. Mine was with mushrooms, Gambas green asparragus. I loved it. The service was excellent, very friendly, he gave us some very good advice a fantastic vine recommendation. Thank you. Perfect night, great dinner beautiful location. Excellent food good prices."

"In the heart of Santander, you will find this winery, where the first thing that attracts our attention is its decoration, full of wine barrels painted by different artists from the early twentieth century. only to see the photos is worth going to this restaurant-bodega, even if it is only to have a glass of wine in the food, comment that I ceded one day here the following menu: octopus to the gallega, fish accompanied by shrimp and clams, tudanca and dessert milli leaves. a full and well-made menu, although I did not get excited. Perhaps for the typical dishes, or because none stands out beyond a good elaboration, dripping much more the decoration of the restaurant, and especially the seats with cushions at price I cannot speak as I was invited by the consejería of the tourism."
