"My friends come here regularly. I came here with them. We ordered spicy basil with shrimp and chicken. It comes with the side of white rice. My friend ordered pineapple meat with tofu and vegetables. Everything was very delicious. Must try."

"Ivano's is by far my favorite place to eat in south lake Tahoe and one of the best restaurants I've been to period. I've been looking forward to coming back here after some time away and I'm extremely saddened to hear the passing of Ivano. "Do not go here, save your money. They are so busy but very cheap when it come to refund even if they make a wrong order. Service horrible. I order everything veggie and spent over $100 and this place made one burrito wrong with steak beef. I was already back at hotel, called them for refund for just that burrito but they blocked my calls and next day I called here again they asked me to bring that one burrito back to get refund, how cheap this place can be. We all are traveling and no one is going to come back. This place knows how to avoid giving refunds for their silly mistakes. Do not go here. Food taste like burned."

"After a long day at Yosemite, and a long drive, we looked forward to steaks at The Sage Room. On first impression, it looks luxurious. With more observation, you start to notice things, like the pile of dust on the window sills (great views though! , you notice that a used Kleenex sat on the floor near you for the duration of your dinner...The bone-in Porter House Steak was a vast disappointment, especially at $84.95, sides extra. Usually, I ask the the steak be prepared as the Chef prefers. In this case, Chef must like steaks unseasoned, over cooked and dry. The assorted sauteed mushrooms didn't save it. The same technique was applied to a Fillet Mignon, it looked lonely on the plate. The baked potato was served separately, in case it marred the fillet's presentation. The fillet was returned to the kitchen, and replaced with Steak Diane, which was a production, as it is prepared table side. The wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing and lardons was the night's winner, despite the chewiness of the lardons. Our server was friendly and semi-efficient. There were two of us, but the server left 3 place settings and four napkins, crowding the small table further once appetizers and drinks were served. I do belive that we were comped the Steak Diane, but that didn't make up for the underwhelming experience."

"There is a man named Bart who is an amazing server. He's kind and punctual! The food here was great. We went to dinner and breakfast on different days. Had the original rib and lobster special. I'm glad we made it! Everything was very delicious. Eggs Benedict also enjoyed before going home the last day. Bart was the bartender when we went to breakfast, and there was a waiting time on a table, so we ate in the bar. He's doing a pretty good Bloody Mary. He seems to wear many hats at once and made it quite easy."

"Loved everything about this place. Portion sizes were decent, though if you're a big eater like my husband plan on eating a large to yourself. Meat is thin and delicious. Staff was so courteous and explained everything well!"

"This is Dr. Di and my husband Professor Breunlin. We are from Chicago. We were at the restaurant on the 4th of November. We were celebrating my husbands 76th birthday. It was a horrible evening. They told us to leave because we were intoxicated. This was a complete misperception given we had food and a total of three drinks. My husband believes we were profiled at the time we entered the restaurant.. I had on a scarf symbolizing gay rights rainbow scarf) and we were speaking Spanish. I am 65 and per yesterday's birthday) my husband is 76. We were totally lucid at the time we were told to leave. Given our age we simply do not drink that much. Upon further contemplation we believe our treatment was some combination of homo phobia, racism and agism. The really need to do some employee trainings . We do not recommend this restaurant."

"Excellent steaks, excellent pages, attentive service, beautiful atmosphere. There are expensive New York steakhouse prices, but both the 8 ounces rare fillet (picture) and the 20 ounces bone in ribeye were excellent. We share a Caesar salad and two sides and it was perfect."
