"After visiting a consumer fair in Rheda Wiedenbrück during construction and renovation, the feet are flat and the stomachs are empty. In particular, children make their desire for calorie intake clear, but also parents are not absent. It's Saturday night and we didn't reserve anything, but since it's still quite early (before 6:00 it shouldn't be a problem, so we thought at least. Although the services of the two locals, who come directly closer to us first, we still need to be rejected. So new planning, in the car direction at home and on the jump you will see more possible options by phone. After the sixth cancellation in a row (damaged, did the whole world eat today? do we want to give up and prepare us spiritually for old bread and leftovers from the refrigerator, then Bötte's wood stove falls into me, a small pizzeria in the center of Verl. Since we are almost there and my phone with the brief comment that there is hunger and now turn off when there is nothing to eat, the call is unnecessary (and unfortunately also pictures and we go directly. From the outside we see some empty tables through the window front and are already almost euphoric, but then you see small "reserved for xxx" note on all tables. As the old Latins said, “audacis fortuna juvat”. A table becomes free and we can take it directly. At first glance, little has changed since my last visit. The same simple wooden tables and a quite spicy decoration. After a few more detailed views, I get positive changes. On the one hand, the counter surface is much more tidy, not a comparison with the somewhat gruschtelige deposit a few months ago. On the other hand, the controls can be considered directly as such by appropriate clothing. The young lady, who today serves next to the boss, is distributed after we sit the menus and asks our drinks requests (2x Cola – 0.2l 1.70 € 1x Fritz Cola 0.33l 2.80 € 1x alcohol-free wheat – Franciscan 0.5l 3.50 € . The drinks came to the table quickly and well cooled and after our decision we could also order our food. As with my previous visits, the card consists of collated copied DinA4 sheets, but they are obviously replaced regularly, as they probably always contain new creations (as we said and also visually new. Many things have changed on the map. While you are using what you can – pizza – alongside the classics Funghi, Tonno and Prosciuto, there are also more creative combinations with e.g. Westphalian ham, salmon, pears and others. There is also tomato salad with and without tuna and a wild herbal salad, that was it. No pasta, no meat or fish dishes. We ordered from this selection: 1x Wild Herb Salad 6,80 € 1x Pizzamozzarella (corresponding to a Margherita 7,90 € 1x Pizzaromana (fruit and fresh mushrooms small 5, € 1x Pizza Arlecchino (Salami, Paprika, fresh mushrooms, Pepperonimozzarella and sharp Pepperoni 8,80 € 2,20 €). Despite the fact that the reserved tables were filled and pizza was also sold out of the house, there were no excessive waiting times. The salad came as ordered as an appetizer and was placed in the middle. There were no additional plates, unfortunately, then the table later has to be wiped a little more accurately (flakes on the tablecloth are not present, there is no tablecloth . The salad mixture was unusual, but good. For a few ackersalatrogs, young spinach, red beet leaves, rocket, sour beet leaves and when I counted quite 2 unknown participants. The dressage of lime juice, olive oil, coarse salt, black pepper and honey perfectly matched the colorful greens. Even our two boys, otherwise strict Salathassers were done. There was a basket with fresh pizza bread that didn't have to wait long for consumption. The pizzas then served were already visually a real eye-catcher (because I couldn't take photos – I promise I would get. The dough was thin and crispy up to about 2/3 in the direction of the middle. The middle part was no longer crispy, but also by far not through. The sugo tasted slightly fruity and so spiced that the taste of his own came good, but not covered the rest. The other ingredients were all without mistakes and tadels. Mushrooms, ham, rocket and especially the coppa were as much as I would always like them. Also the Peperoni upgrade from mild to sharp has provided real blows on the Arlecchino. The pizza and also the salad really thrilled me completely and the faces of the family also seemed relaxed, happy and saturated. If you pay, you will now receive a proper document and if you leave the place as before a friendly adoption. Rating: Ambiente: In principle, not much has been done here. It is still very economical, no tablecloths, hardly decoration. The only, but very positive change is that it no longer looks so “grusschtelig” in the opposite direction. 3.5 star service: Both the young lady in service and the one made your thing really good. No comparison to my visit 1 year ago 4 stars food: The pizza was grandiose, otherwise it cannot be described and also the salad brought a positive aha experience. 5 star cleanliness: The place and also the sanitary facilities were perfect. 4 star price ratio: For a small corner pizzeria in the size of a snack bar, prices are quite delicious, but if I look at the quality of ingredients, the size of the portion and especially the taste, then it fits again. Four stars. Conclusion: Why I'm not here for so long, I don't know. The added menu has done it a lot to me and I will come back soon. For all visitors and locals a real recommendation."

"General After my dear wife stayed at her table in the pension Fordkort and was very positive, we ended last Saturday for a visit to two. The guest house Fordkort „bei Egon“ is located in Verl-Kaunitz on the road to Schloss-Holte Stukenbrock. If you don't know the place, you have to make sure that you don't drive right past because it's a little backward, unlike the other houses. Parking is enough on the street. When entering the slim space, the large counter dominates. Several tables are arranged around them, partly in a kind of niches. Go around the counter you come to another room that also houses a beautiful fireplace. The whole thing has more pubs than restaurant signs. There are many ceremonies, in one place or another, the plaster breaks out of the corner. Some fresh color here and it would certainly not be wrong. But it's not unpleasant. For the ambience 3 stars. Since it is Saturday night and people like to go out with us in the country, we call in advance to book a table. Actually, everything is full, so the host on the phone, but if we want, we should like to come. Then he'd have to park us at the counter until a table is free. We take the risk and enter the well sorted place at 19:30. Most places are occupied, at two larger tables are reserved -signs, at the counter only 2 places are free. We are greeted by the host and by a passing service, and to the question whether there is already a place we would have called before, we are guided by the places that have just become free at the bar. We hardly sit, a small table in the side room is free with the fireplace and an operation accompanies us to the place. We get the menu and are asked directly for our drinks. My wife ordered a certain €0.40. I want to see the map first. Unfortunately, the card is a pure menu so I order as the service comes back to us after a while to get the order a common wheat beer 0.5l 3.30 €. For food, my wife ordered pork fillet in a bacon coat with fried cabbage, figs and potato gratin €14,80 . For me, Mr Rumpsteak should be €21.80. The drinks came to the table quite tight and well cooled. We also had a bread basket and spread out. The food itself took a while, which was obviously due to the high amount. We wanted another wine for dinner. The service then brought us the local wine map that consisted of a DinA4 sheet with some open and a few bottle wines. The selection was not huge, but quite right for such a place. We ordered the open Barbera €0.2l 4.60 with 2 glasses. The wine was then served in a small carafe shortly after dinner and the service also gave us a drink. All in all, all the service workers who served us very accommodating tonight always had a smile on their lips and did their thing well. Of course there is something more rustic here, but it is all authentic, the guests are in sight and the reorders of the drinks come quickly to the guest. I especially liked how the service treated our complaints. The wine see below was not calculated, the note on the cooking grade of the steak was communicated to the kitchen and there was a dessert on the house. I like to give good 4 stars for the service. Food: Bread with herbal cucumber: There was a basket with rye mixed bread and a small one-piece glass with herbal cucumber. The rye bread of all likelihood was not itself made easily roasted or the slices were baked in the oven. A decent bread, but no revelation. The herbal cucumber, obviously made itself, was beautifully creamy and mainly with chives and spring onions. He tasted wonderfully mixed bread and even after the end pure with the spoon. pork fillet with bacon coat, Nick-Cauli, fig-Jus and potato gratin: The pork fillet was cooked until the point juicy and tenderly. The enveloping bacon has given the meat a strong wort, which is supplemented with the accompanying nickel. The cabbage was well prepared with some cream. He had a “small” consistency, with the individual pieces of cabbage still bite easily. The fig jus also has amazingly good fit thanks to its light sweetness and the whole has been tastefully rounded. The potato gratin came in a separate small bowl, was tastefully very good and especially not too dry. Mister Rumpsteak: After the map, the “Mister Rumpsteak” is a 300g rag steak from the New Zealand pasture bark with fried mushrooms and tomatoes. Instead of the oven potato with Sourcream, I ordered Pommes Frites. I ordered the steak medium wheel. The steak was, as ordered, quite large. Unfortunately it came to a bit too long fried and thus "just" perfect medium to the table. The steak was accompanied on the elongated plate by some cut and fried champignons and 3 roasted cherry tomatoes. Pommes frites were served in a separate bowl. The meat, apart from the too long pan retention period, was very delicate and tastefully wonderfully aromatic. The meat selection of the cook seems to work well. The mushrooms were only slightly fried, because they could have a little more warmth from me, the tomatoes were still recognizable as such and were well suited for mushrooms and meat. The Pommes Frites, a very large part from which much was left, were nicely crispy and hot. Shortly after dinner on the table, Barbera was brought to us. Unfortunately this was tipped, slightly moussed and had a penetrant snack. The wine was of course not calculated to us, but we had no desire for another wine and ordered us another location of the previous drinks. As compensation for the wine and the unroasted steak we were then brought to each one a caramel ice cream with a small fresh croque as dessert. For dinner, there are still 4 stars, despite the slightly too long roasted steak. Cleanliness: Everything is in a clean state. We haven't visited the toilets, so we have 4 stars. Price/Performance ratio: We have eaten well and abundant, at a very decent price. The beverage prices are not as good as I know them from critics in southern Germany, but are still comparatively low regionally. So I want to forgive 5 stars here"
