"All you can eat sushi and Chinese. Clean, bright, well organized. Lunch about 12 euros, dinner about 16. Food is freshly prepared. Hot dishes descend bu dumbwaiter, from the upstairs kitchen. Sushi is prepared at the sushi bar on the main floor. These are basic sushi and sashimi. Don't look for crabs, eels, freshwater shrimps, or more exotic rolls. It is tasty."

"Terrible tourist trap! Unfortunately we didn’t see the other reviews on TA before ordering our dinner. The salad was full of salt, the periniscos were gummy and the octopus was floating in a plate of oil. All in all we had disgusting food served with a sarcastic attitude by the French-speaking owner. To avoid at all costs."

"All of us waited to get a table here, they did not allow reservations.......but it was absolutely worth it! The first night we had a full dorado, the time a risotto dish with monk fish prawns. They were both extraordinarily good. Cooked...to perfection, it is hard to choose which is best, but the risotto is the one to try. Don’t forget the dessert. Crepe with beaten, sweetened egg yolk and shavings of coconut accompanied by great ice cream. I’ve never had that mix before but I am looking forward to having it again. Right on the beach, lovely walk to see the sun set before being tended to by great staff in a lovely atmosphere, even while we were sitting outside and it got chilly they provided us with soft blankets and arranged for a table inside. Amazing value for money, incredible quality of ingredients........a must if you are near Viana."

"On the search for a place served late lunch, we found this place that served two vegan options: a burger and a salat. we had the burger with one side of fritten. the burger had no “paper” but the mushroom and courgette filling was really nice and makes the Burger-Yummy. kellner speak English. be careful, it's a busy place."

"Sometimes I returned to a place for good food, but this time I returned because of food and good treatment from people in O Tabernão. I visited alone a week ago, and was so happy with the food I tasted that I brought two people I met so that we share more of these delicious dishes - it is usually tapas or petisco's type of small parts plates. We were all pilgrims on the Camino and we returned to Viana because we liked it so much. O Tabernão liked us even more!"
