"This place was nice. A small, quaint place. They have inside and outside seating. The have a bar that looked fully stocked. You definitely go for the experience of eating in a tree house. It was backed up to the woods/ tree line. I enjoyed my dinner. The staff was friendly your food was brought out by different servers, which means it's not just sitting there getting cold. Keep in mind it's a long ways off from Kingsland, Ga. I would definitely suggest leaving that morning staying overnight."

"I live in Atlanta but frequent Vidalia for business. On this trip I asked my hotel if there were any newer restaurants in town And was told about Tarentinos. I decided to give it a try. I'll give this one three stars and at best that is a stretch. When I entered the restaurant I was surprised to find it surprisingly empty even though the parking lot appeared relatively full although I could hear quite a bit of noise coming out of the bar area . To be clear it was prime time about 7:30 on a Wednesday evening . At this point the host proceeded to sit me on the far side of the restaurant away from the large windows looking out onto the golf course even though all the tables but one was empty there . At this point I begrudgingly sat there for over 10 minutes before my waitress finally came to the table in spite of it being almost empty . When she did arrive I asked if I could move to a window seat which she deferred to her manager who very reluctantly complied. He explained that the crowd is typically late to arrive which by the way never happened. In the hour Plus I was there I believe one other couple arrived and the few parties left who were there previously. Now to the food ..I ordered a chicken entree (Gabriella)? Or something along those lines with two sides meatballs and a Caesar salad. The main dish was mediocre at best and the salad was a poor excuse for a good Caesar. The best part of the meal was the meatball side . I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here.....it could be a good place but they will really have to step up their game... Hence the only reason I gave them 3 stars again that was a gift"
