"Overall, a very good dining experience. Once our order was taken, the service was very prompt. Salmon was quite tasty and cooked perfectly. Steak was very good. Would prefer if the choices were simply grilled with choice of sides so we could mix and match entrees and sides. Tables are too close together my chair was bumped into repeatedly by waitstaff and customers. The noise level was off the charts, even in the back of the house. We have been coming to Grants for many years and the new pub atmosphere is fun but not conducive to a relaxing meal"

"If you want to get your guests or enjoy a relaxing meal, then this is your stop. This place has a lot of personality, good food and parking. The Happy Hour Specials included $5 drinks and under $10 bar bits. The complete menu had many unique possibilities. Also this summer the seat outdoors will be a big draw."

"Ordered takeout. Went with the beachland burger for simplicity. Ordered the patty medium well and it was left on the grill for about 3 minutes too long. Dry and sad. The burger is a build your own style but 3 ingredients I asked for were left off."

"Ate at Max during CT Eats Week. It was a Sunday night and the restaurant was active but not noisy. Our server, Ryan, was attentive, but not overbearing. The cocktails, apps, and special menu items (arctic char and scallops) were excellent, as were the desserts. We heard the CT Eats special was extended for an extra week and would recommend it highly!"

"After two years away due to the pandemic, I finally ventured out to get my brunch fix at The Cheesecake Factory. I don't know of any establishment that creates such a variety of truly tasty brunch options. I remember sitting at the bar weekend after weekend socializing with friendly and energetic bartenders while throwing back a few cocktails and eagerly waiting for my Farmer's Omelette. There was an energy, at least at the bar...ahh, the memories. Fast forward to this morning: entered the establishment and asked the hostess if the bar was open as I saw no humans in its vicinity. After a resounding yes, my friend and I sat at the bar and waited and waited...over five minutes, less than ten. Not one employee made it within ten feet of the bar. Sadly, we got up and went down the street. My disappointment quickly dissipated when we were greeted quickly and with a smile by the bartender. I hope that this is not the new-normal at The Cheesecake Factory as I do adore its brunch entrées."
