"We were on the Dutch side of ste. maarten and wanted to experience the French side of st. martin for dinner. we were on vacation for our 40-year anniversary and wanted a nice experience. berot caraibes met our expectations. the menu had good choices and the right portions. my man had the french woof and the duck and was very satisfied with his meal. I had the endive salad with blue cheese and the scallops. coming from the new england coast, where they have the freshest scalopps, I was a little worried that I would not enjoy the dish, but it was perfectly cooked. my man had the crème brûlée dessert and I had the sorbet sortiment. my man said it was very good and the sorbet was very delicious and refreshing. the restaurant ended the dinner with a complementary lemon. the ambiente was pleasant and comfortable. it took a while to get the fuck, but I think they need to ask. they didn't eat you through the evening or beat you out of the restaurant. the only part was the parking lot. there are only street parking on a very small road. After a short trip we found a parking lot near the restaurant for $5 which the restaurant has returned to us. it is a little dark in the night, but it is worth it. the restaurant is not pretentious, a very pleasant experience."
