"Fab eating great service. today we have been immersed here for lunch and were very impressed. we had the goat cheese, aubergine and rocket that was beautiful. I had the prawns and spaghetti to follow, and my companion had the heavy fish that both were perfectly cooked. we had dessert the chocolate pot and the pantinacotta, both of which could have eaten twice! the service was great, we sat long time in chat and they were in no hurry to get rid of us. less than £40 for both of us (from the midday menu,) including a glass merlot and a bottle of spring water great eating at a great price, worth visiting if they are on these wise below."

"Table for four on a Thursday night, two of us had been before and enjoyed the food. Calf’s liver and mash..... no mash! Calf liver was undercooked although it was ordered cooked through. Slow cooked pork....not much taste and no crackling. Chicken pieces......a bit dry, not seasoned enough and served with a plane yoghurt dressing. We were not asked if we wanted any veg to accompany the meal. Starters were good."
