"We were on the terrace, we didn't feel the spirit of a wine bar. Inside, it seemed much more friendly. established by an English not necessarily very concerned. The aperitif boards are terribly expensive."

"Yes indeed, 3 Times in less than 24 hours. Most important to our visits was Phillipe our very kind server, we took his recommendations. And Sebastian the owner is very friendly to all. We much enjoyed our Friday evening stop for a wine, The place...is a wine shop so you can select any wine from the shelves to enjoy by the bottle. Later, after our dinner we were walking back to our Inn, the town was sleeping, and we found this the only late night spot still open and lively! Also it was very rare to see in a small place, such a great selection of whiskeys, rums, gins for our after dinner stop. Saturday afternoon after our stroll through the grounds of the fort and then through the local Saturday market, we were glad to see them again there across the street! We had thought it was a wine shop with little foods but it’s really great food. We sat a couple of hours for oysters, sardines, and something new “truffle jamon”! (And of course a nice bottle of white as recommended by Phillipe:"

"The location is great, overlooking the water and watching the sun set was amazing. The restaurant itself is mediocre. The tableware and cutlery are cheap, our glasses were watermarked and covered in fingerprints and the menus we were given were old and dirty. The service was not more than OK and the food was nice, but for the price you would expect amazing food and Michelin star service. At the end of the night, we went to reception and were presented with our €150 bill. No issue with this, but my wife asked if there was any way they could provide us with a small portion of milk for the morning for our coffee as all of the shops were closed. They kindly went away and came back with about 50 ml of milk in an empty water bottle. Nice of them we thought. Only to have that experience soured by then having to wait for a few minutes while they re-processed our bill and added €2 for the tiny bit of milk, enough for two cups of coffee. Find somewhere nicer and avoid the feeling of being seriously ripped off would be my advice."

"Exceptional reception that it is at the time of the cheking in the evening with the lady and in the morning with the gentleman at the level of breakfast.. clean and large room with view on the estuary..There are family rooms it is a plus... very close to the center and the citadel.. small dej exceptional for 9 euros. frankly I recommend"
