"Betsy and Bill are such gracious hosts. I loved having the names on the back of the bottle being the same people who poured our glasses. On top of that the wine is fantastic and the vineyard is beautiful. I’d also highly recommend bringing your own charcuterie to have a picnic at the tables after your tasting with the bottles you just purchased."

"For large parties, they always recommend a pre fixed menu. It was about $80 a person and you make your selections before your arrival. Menu: 1) Small Bites Cheese and Charcuterie platter, loved the variety for this board. Creamy and salty cheeses with cheese crackers, dried fruit and nuts. 2) Salads Chalk Hill Estate Greens, the pecorino and the citronette paired well with the greens 3) Pasta Strozzapreti with Gulf Shrimp, very lemony and fresh, I enjoyed this dish a lot. 4) Seafood Salmon. Celery root puree was yummy, enjoyed it more than the salmon. 5) Meat Cabernet Braised Short Rib. Loved the polenta and the flavors on this one. The horseradish was a nice touch. 6) Vegetables Sugar snap peas, just okay. Asparagus with vinaigrette, skippable. 7) Dessert Trio of dessert, enjoyed the Panna Cotta more than anything. The coconut ice cream was not bad. The chocolate cake was very rich and dense. For 18 people they brought about 4 plates of each item that we ordered. It was definitely more than enough food and we had so much food leftover. Service: The service was great. We had a large party and the family style was very accommodating. We had about 18 people in our party. We did not expect an automatic 25% gratuity though, so it was quite shocking. I thought usually the standard was 20%, but 25% was a bit steep. Overall, the food was just okay and for the price and gratuity we were paying, didn't feel like it was worth it. Maybe I'd come here again with a smaller party to try other dishes, but for large parties, it just wasn't for me."

"An old shop with delicious sandwiches, cookies and baked goods. There are local articles for sale and souvenirs from Sonoma County. There are shaded outdoor seating and views of vineyards directly opposite. Absolutely a great stop! Very recommended."

"What a great find in the northern part of Healdsburg! While the vineyards are in Alexander Valley, Doug and Crystalyn have their tasting room in Healdsburg which is easier to access. Although I originally thought that this was an interesting prospect because of the number of rosés in their lineup, we found that their whole line of wines were strong with some brilliant stand outs such as their Violet Rose rosé, delicious chardonnay, and great syrah. It was so good we joined their wine club! One of the best kept secrets I believe since a good number of industry folks at other wineries were not familiar!"
