"We were staying at the Cesario and we happened to find this restaurant by driving around the area so we did not have a booking. However the owner welcomed us at opening time (7pm). We were the first customers. The young waiter seemed very inexperienced....We waited for him to take our order and he removed our wine glasses without asking if we wanted to order wine. We had to ask the owner for the wine list after we got our entrée. Then we had to ask for glasses. It was over an hour after we had finished our entrée before the waiter finally removed our empty plates although he had passed our table many times waiting on other tables. We finally got our main course at 10pm. The other diners were just as long waiting for service. The young man just didn't seem to know what to do. I am not sure if this is the norm for this restaurant or if it was an unusual evening. The food was good although the main course fish was a bit dry and overcooked perhaps it had been waiting under hot lights for the entree plates to be cleared. Some of the later tables seemed to be taking their own orders into the kitchen and getting their own drinks from the bar. Perhaps they were regulars."
