"We stumbled across this restaurant and we are so pleased we did. The food was outstanding, the wine is fabulous and the scenery is beautiful. I had salmon and my husband had pork belly with the beetroot salad. We dine with a tornado toddler and Penny's Hill really helped keep her entertained. They have highchairs, chickens, sheep and a big box of toys. All these additions are very discreet and result in the restaurant being classy and child friendly."

"An exceptional fine dining experience from beginning to end. Hats off to the chefs for taste, quality ingredients and specifically the presentation. We also opted for the wine pairing with our degustation. The wine pairings went well with our meals, however we would’ve loved to learn more about the history and tasting notes. Unfortunately due to restrictions being implemented the night before our visit and not to cancel guests bookings, all seatings were reduced to 2 hours with a reduced menu. As a result, we were more tipsy than full by the end of the meal but understandably, Maxwell did what they could given the circumstances. We definitely are keen to go back for the full experience."

"I am reviewing this based purely on the wine I drank here. It was excellent. The dining room and tasting area is very elegant. Industrial feel and service was lovely. Every red wine I tasted was excellent. The sangiovese and Shiraz was exceptional, we bought a lot to be delivered to Sydney. Do not eat though at the restaurant Little Wolf Osteria. It was terrible. Feel free to check my one star review of that experience on that separate google listing. There are other amazing places nearby that you can eat at that are way better."

"It was another family gathering of 6 . The wines affordable and good. The meals filling (steak just great) deserts not dear Overall bill not high considering what we had . Its a restaurant we always rely on to come up with the goods. Staff chatty and helpful"

"There were 8 of us (4 couples, all good friends), who shared a single table. We started in the cellar door sampling the sparkling shiraz, then off to the kitchen, where our host and chef Horst explained the concept of cooking all the courses using shiraz as the major influencing ingredient! Two bottles of wine were provided (including a very expensive shiraz), but at anytime one could go out to the cellar and purchase a bottle, which we did numerous times. The food was absolutely spectacular, with Horst doing all the cooking on the other side of the stainless steel bench. I have never had such an innovative food experience before. Absolutely enjoyed by all of us."

"This bakery has an interesting lay-out with tables and chairs placed alongside a corridor from street to the local supermarket. However, during our stay, hardly anyone walks by, so each t able enjoys a quiet private space. The bakery has a nice selection of sweet...and savoury items, but we are most impressed by the helpful friendliness of the lady at the counter. An enjoyable stop."
