"Paseo takes over from the venerated Bridget's with a whole new menu of tapas-sized plates. Their arugula salad is about arugula leaves drenched in an over-bearing amount of lemon-juice dressing. Nothing near Bridget's. The rest of the menu is pretty tasty: We had roasted mushrooms, beets, scallops and octopus. The scallops were particularly good and the octopus nicely done. The bill ran to about per person with drinks."

"The pizzas are the best. I always order the calamari and our friends shared a great salad. They have a great beer selection and our friends ordered mixed drinks and were very satisfied. In Riva is a very popular restaurant in our neighborhood and we have been going there for years. It is, without a doubt, the place to go when you want excellent pizza in an energetic but relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Lots of families and well behaved kids are often there."

"Can only speak for brunch but the servers took care of the entire floor. You could ask any server for help and you got it. The food was very tasty, as were the drinks. A little pricey for brunch but it's in center city. Value now where to be found."

"At first glance Osteria is warm and inviting. The rustic decor and warm atmosphere lulls you into thinking a wonderful meal is ahead. Far from the truth. The menu is limited for simple palates. The prices are outrageous and the portions too small, which could very well be overlooked if the food was at the very least fair. At our winter get together with friends here, not one of us was completely satisfied. Two out of the four appetizers, were ok, the entrees' consisted of over and under cooked meats/fish, and when we complained only one dinner was removed from the bill. The desserts were good but small and very expensive $9.00 for a 1/2 cup of rice pudding? Really now). We have no problem spending money on good food, this just wasn't. On the flip side, the service was excellent, however, I would rather not be reminded of how alive my food was 10 minutes prior to it appearing on my plate) and the wine list a plus. Philadelphia has an extensive list of wonderful restaurants. This is not one of them."
