Unfortunately, the photographing in the shop was prohibited and the staff repeatedly pointed out. Too bad, even today, not very understandable. Therefore, this time I cannot entertain readers with interesting photos to make the pleasure of visiting. But I know how to help us! Even acquired must be photographed, and I also count the cheese plate. But from the beginning: I owe my dear colleague the visit. She wanted to make me a birthday present. I told her we were finally going to Dresden this year. She already knew the dairy and surprised me for my birthday with a voucher My birthday voucher including Dresden Travel Guide! I was surprised. I didn't think about the dairy. But I immediately remembered our visit Villeroy Boch Museumcafé Mettlach. Here tiles of the dairy for the café were replicated according to original templates. Very nice, but not almost so beautiful the original in Dresden. Our expectations were not high. The dairies are even approached by the buses of the city view. On the back of the house there is a paid parking lot. So we were in the dairy after a few steps. At the cheese counter I was right with my voucher. Ms. Stephan in the service, despite the many people, gave the impression that we were only waiting for us. She proposed to judge an international cheese plate. I just asked not to take a smoked cheese on the plate. No problem, we like to see if we find a place on the few standing or diocese. Nice people cleared the most beautiful bistro table in the corner of the window. Here we had everything in sight. This lush tile splendour from the floor, over walls, theke to the ceiling is indescribably beautiful. Ms. Stephan served us the cheese plate, explained the varieties and proposed a bottle of water to the wine. We were allowed to choose the wine. A dry white burgundy or the 2016 semi-dry cuvée “Meissenweiss”, especially for the 125th anniversary of the dairy. We chose this. International Cheese Plate The complete deck! It was served well cooled, with a 0.75 l bottle of mineral water and a basket of fresh baguette. We slept through the circular cheese. Unfortunately, I no longer know the individual varieties, but the composition with soft and hard cheese, including goat cheese, cheddar cheese with sage, blue cheese, a regional cheese... was really good and diverse. Bread even went for free. The wine is a perfect hit! He was very good for the cheese. As a result, two bottles of wine also migrated from the beautiful shop into the shopping bag. Jubilee White Wine . Let's see if it tastes so good at home! The toilets are located in the 1st OG in the café. They are clean and well maintained, even if the tiles there have more damage than the historical tiles in the milk shop. They're probably not from Villeroy Boch. Pappsatt we went on our way. Thank you very much to Mrs. Stephan. Rarely we have experienced someone who takes care of the guests with so much heart blood, that was really great to look at. And these guests are certainly never regular guests. The other employees were also very friendly. The possibility of cheese tasting in the dairy would always be the café visit in the 1st. Keep moving. Our expectations were absolutely exceeded."
