"Really good burgers. Very flavorful with a rich bun that had a good taste of its own. The fries were not good though so won't recommend them. Tried a shake as well and it wasn't great, it was just alright. I'd go here just for the burgers. They're on the expensive side around $16-20 as of Dec 2022. The happy hour is totally worth it with the classic and the 8oz burger with fries for under $15. That's a good deal."

"We have been traveling to Seattle for the past 10 plus years, each time trying a new restaurant. We have walked past the purple cafe each time finally making a reservation and very excited for the experience. However Dec 17 7:30pm we got a surprise shock when our server was the most rudest, passive, ignorant server we have ever had. There was 4 of us and spent $700 on our dining experience. The food and wine was amazing . Unfortunately we did not get his name as he never said it , he talked extremely fast so that we could not even understand him, seemed frustrated when we had questions about the wine. When paying the bill be asked if he could split it, basically rolled he eye and grabbed the machine from our hand and walked away, bring it back with attitude. So disappointing, especially because we had wanted to go there for so long"

"Take out first timer here.my prtner ordered the mushroom burger and sweet potato fries. Fries were a bit heavy on the batter so the sweet potato wasn't as noticeable, but he said they were good. (None for me-Celiac) Mushroom burger was great with swiss and loaded with mushrooms. We shared a vanilla shake as well and I'm mad I didn't opt for my own. My burger wrap was SO good! Super messy, because it's not really a wrap, more like a lettuce sammich with burger, cheese, bacon, tomatoes, pickles and shredded lettuce(lol) it was juicy, flavorful and pretty filling. Definitely will return."

"Stopped there late one night with some friends. The waiter asked us if we'd like anything from the kitchen since they where about to close down. And got our food and drinks relatively fast. Parking is a bit iffy but where isn't Seattle's parking bad. Ps. I got to say hi to the service dogo on the clock when I got up to order some drinks"

"Updt Apr 2022: SO sad. The bakery has gone downhill since two years ago. The baked goods come in paper bags now instead of a nicely presented cardboard box, even if you order a lot of them. They don't acknowledge you at all if you go in and pick up your online orders. They just leave the orders to the side so anyone can walk out with them with no verification. They no longer allow you to order baked goods online in advance before the store is opened. Worst of all, they got rid of one of their best items on the menu the chocolate twice baked almond croissant!!! : This was their best tasting item, and they took it off the menu because of ownership change to a roastery. Now, Fresh Flours is just a coffee shop and their baked goods are getting pared down. They also increased their prices on several other items. Good things don't last forever. : This unassuming bakery/coffee shop below an apartment complex has surprisingly delicious pastries! Highly recommend the: CROISSANT: buttery and flakey! AZUKI CROISSANT: omg. this is the BEST THING EVER. Get it. The top is crunchy and the entire concoction is just delightful. TWICE BAKED CROISSANTS chocolate/almond : no words. just good. GREEN TEA RED BEAN MUFFIN: delicious! Not too sweet and not too bitter. Just right. MACAROONS: one of the best I have tasted. Not too sweet or artificial. The passion fruit is my favorite. The good stuff sells out by late morning, so try to pop by in the early morning if you can. You can also put in online orders the night before to reserve the pastries so you can sleep in on the weekends and pick them up at your convenience. :"

"Keep in mind that there is a hot food 'dead hour ' from 10am 11am as they transition from breakfast to lunch. During this time, however, you can still grab a sandwich or whatever is in the cooler. Coffee is still available during that hour. That being said, there are usually two options. One typically includes a meat protein while the other is usually vegetarian (not vegan). Both options are almost always sub $10.00. For Seattle, this is a great value for what you get and the meals are typically pretty health focused. After all, you 're at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance so that adds up. This review is still during the pandemic (Delta Variant being the current big one), and a lot of patrons will be immunocompromised. It 's nice to have this option and the tables spread far enough apart and cleaned regularly. Staff is very friendly. I see the odd review from non Seattle natives thinking that the staff is slightly standoffish, but I believe that 's just a culture difference and people mistaking our mannerisms for curtness. I 'll stop the review here before it gets more preachy. Overall I definitely recommend."

"Best Western BBQ burger. Gorgonzola fries were nice but served in a tiny portion and maybe not worth the upcharge. Good beer selection but quite a few of the rotating taps were empty. Honestly their standard beer selection has better beer than the rotating taps, but I was disappointed they didn 't have more varieties from the breweries that surround then locally. That is the most important takeaway, and you can stop reading if those are the things you care most about. However, before the eating began experience the entire adventure begins when I asked the host about the wait time. I was told a watching waiter, 80 minutes man, followed by the actual host saying, it will actually be more like 40 minutes, to which the lead waitress scoffed at as she walked by, I can seat you right now! Great. At least we were seated quickly, but it is troubling that 2 of 3 workers had no idea what their seating protocol was. To give them a break, it was incredibly busy. However, the food and drink is the important part. My eating partner head a lettuce wrapped burger with a wedge side salad replacing fries. His drink was a Moscow mule that he said was stiff but really gingery. He liked both. I don 't care that much for BBQ burgers, but I like Mac and cheese burgers less. The choice was between those two and a regular burger. I decided to take the dice and do the Western. The fried onions on this were what made this superior to previous Western burgers. They were lightly breaded and thick with onion so they were soft yet added crunch. Sauce was thick and not running everywhere. Bacon was able to but through without pulling out. Bun was soft yet held it 's structure. Burger party was fine. All of it together made for an easy bite through with good crunchy onion flavor with the sweet smoky combination of bacon and sauce. The cheddar cheese added a little richness as well. While there was a little meat taste, that wasn 't the star. Gorgonzola fries were reheated feeling, with a little Gorgonzola sauce and crumble. Wasn 't real warm either. Flavor was fine. Would probably just order regular fries next time, but I didn 't see what they looked like. Drinks are served in plastic cups... I enjoyed the food, atmosphere is that of a sports bar. Worth eating at if in the sodo district in search of a burger post game or concert."
