"Our breakfast was delightful. We especially enjoyed the pecan roll and cinnamon roll. Both are huge and we each ate only half so I’d suggest sharing one or the other. Our server was great."

"This place could be great! But the parts are small once you put them? a real pain to order something again, and if u do order, you feel like u need to tap again. Food is good, but once u seats service is over. A little setting flow in the employees, again, sat over an hour of food and no employee asked me something."

"What a small business in the heart of the Arctic. I have chicken salad, with the garlic box, Cheddar cheese and some other things I enjoy. it was very delicious and a good size package. they have a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff here. that was my first time here, they took the time to explain to me the possession and to answer all my questions. they serve breakfast and lunch all the time. they stop and support another small business."

"This is my most favorite place to eat!! Anytime someone wants to have lunch together this is the place I suggest because their sandwiches are so freakin amazingly delicious, I always get a large macaroni salad so I have leftovers for home!! It’s just way too yummy I called one day to find out where they buy it and found out they make it themselves. I was a little bummed out because I wanted to get a larger amount for family get togethers!! Hahahaha!! So anytime I’m there with someone I make sure to tell them get the macaroni salad!! Yummy"

"Best Wings in town! Also the Smoothies are SO SO GOOD! The Boneless Wings are delicious! I love the BBQ Permesan Wings are to die for! Also the Garlic Fries are the best around! If you have been thinking about trying out this place, give it a try you won't regret it."

"Totally worth the drive into town and the struggle to find street parking, the food was amazing, the service was excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend the stuffed french toast and the omlets. Everything was fresh and did not take long to get our food once...we ordered."

"As a lifelong Alaskan, GHBC has always been a go to staple for tons of reasons, great bread, creative options, good sandwiches, etc. Lately, not so much. The bread for the most part continues to be a leading reason to visit, but the lunch menu has now become conservative at best. In the past, these sandwiches could be thrown through a car windscreen. Just a brick of wholesome goodness. After visiting with my wife today, a spicy Italian sandwich that has a single slice of ham a single lettuce cut, and, I think I got the inner two rings from an onion. Oddly, the price still remained the same. I would advise other lunch locations for the best bang for your buck factor, but, the bread is still good. Enjoy now before the bread samples become .50 a slice."
