"It was an honor to finally make the trip to Austin and eat at Franklin. The brisket alone was worth waiting... incredibly good. Jalapeño cheddar sausage is an absolute delicacies! Pork ribs were juicy, tasty and tenderness was on site. Pulled pork sandwich was also phenomenal... the thin sauce puts it over the top. Slav and potato salad were also great, but we were not here for the sides! Strawberry Rhabarb Pie will send you to talk about it when you return. I have the chance to see also the pits really helps you appreciate the love these people have for BBQ because it is HOT in the pit room. Aaron (and team) Brisket is king! Rise in the line (on a weekday if you can), take a chair from under the stairs (no need to bring your own), enjoy the wait because it is worth it!"
