"Walked in without a wait. The food and wine in this place would trump 1 hat restaurants, and match many 2 hatters. An undiscovered gem. Will def be back..."

"Amazing customer service and amazing food, I will definitely be back! With me being indecisive about what I should get, I was given an exact description of what each item would do to my taste buds, and with that i walked out with three things, and each description was 100% correct. Definately recommend!"

"Generously priced considering this cafe is located on Pyrmont. Ambience is inviting and fresh with the plants and modern decor. I recommend their French Toast or their burgers (they have a 'morning after burger ' essentially a big breakfast between a milk bun if you 've had a long night !"

"It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Sydney and you could feel the fleeting winter. It was perfect weather for a birthday lunch at this bar. The windows were all exposed with an uninterrupted view of the harbour bridge and luna park.<br/ <br/ I had the roast chicken mojo and the bruschetta with roast pumpkin and caramelised onion. The roast chicken mojo was quite good with a succulent and juicy interior. It was flavourful, served on some white beans and had a mediterranean feeling to it. The bruschetta bread itself felt a bit tough in texture but the mix of roast pumpkin, caremelised onion and ricotta could not be faulted. Also had a lovely cocktail, the love potion, a simple mix of berry syrup, chambord and sparkling with some fresh strawberries. Very refreshing!<br/ <br/ Its a shame they don't quite take reservations here. Whilst the food isn't quite fireworks, on a nice sunny day, it's a perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon before catching the theatre."

"After the wild NYE night before, we had to seek some brekkie to soak up the remaining alcohol in our systems. Because our sole driver in the group was still probably over the limit, we had to catch public transport to Macquarie Centre, which was open on New Year's Day. Wandering the sprawling shopping centre, we found ourselves seeking sustenance at Inlakesh Living Foods, a healthfoods cafe within the mall. By this point, we were starving but took some time before ordering because everything on the menu sounded pretty good.<br/ <br/ My body was so ready for the ham and cheddar omelette when it finally arrived. The omelette had the perfect amount of protein with slight greasiness necessary to revitalise after the previous night. I wasn't hungover, but if I was then this omelette would be exactly the type of thing I would want to start my recovery with. The only complaint I had is that they were very stingy with the amount of toast provided: it was one slice of a very small loaf of sourdough and very out of proportion compared to the amount of omelette. If you are also expecting a lot of kale, be prepared to be disappointed as you can see, there was barely any kale. I don't care about kale either way so this didn't phase me but for the health conscious, the lack of significant kale could be a let down.<br/ <br/ Overall, I was very surprised that such a cafe could be found within a shopping centre. I always assume shopping centre cafes are low brow fast food places but Inlakesh proved otherwise. If I am ever in the area again, I wouldn't mind trying their pumpkin pancakes, because pumpkin and pancakes..."

"On a warm summery evening, we decided to dine at Hurricane’s Grill at Brighton Le Sands. We were given a table near the window, overlooking the water – it was a great spot to see the sun set and watch people swimming and walking along the beach. For starters, we ordered garlic prawns and mushroom bruschetta. We loved the creativity of the sauteéd mushrooms and goat’s curd being the star of this bruschetta, along with cherry tomatoes and basil pesto and served on sourdough bread. We also enjoyed the garlic prawns, and the flavoured garlic oil was so delicious with the mini baguette that it was served with!"

"I had driven past this little hole in the wall coffee shop a few times on the way to work and finally decided to pull up and check it out. Very glad that my curiousity got the better of me on this occasion. I have now been back many more times. It is convieniently located on the way to work and I have found it very easy to jag a parking spot across the road.
Pete and his soon to be wife Nat are the owners of this coffee shop, they are friendly and provide you with a warm welcome.
I asked about the coffee they use. Pete is passionate about his coffee and informs me he is all about creating a great tasting quality coffee. The coffee is flexibly sourced from numerous roasters. This flexibility makes for delicious blends of coffee. This time I went for a latte, it was strong, smooth, with and earthy chocolate like flavour. A nice blend using beans form Guatamala, Kenya and columbia.
I also notice that there are 2 taps at the counter that look very much like beer taps. I quiz Pete on these taps, it is then confirmed that the taps are for a nitrogen infused cold drip coffee. He opens the cupboard below the counter to reveal the kegs, very impressive. He even offered me a glass to try. I describe it as a beer/coffee hybrid, that is non alcoholic. Two beverages types that I am fond of. This coffee has a beer like head on it, the initial taste is fruity and a little bitter, very much like beer. It is also smooth and refreshing like cold drip. Would be perfect for a hot day when you are after your coffee fix, but aren't keen on a hot coffee. They have ample stock available too. Unlike many cafes with cold drip apparatus that does not get utilised, due to it being a time consuming process.
They are really on to it with their service. They recognising the cars of their regulars and are prepping their coffee in advance, which was also very impressive.
They also have a range of on the run food for under $10. Salads, bacon and egg rolls and tosties/jaffles. My favourite being the truffle salami with maffra cheddar, definitely recommended. A great flavour combo with a good truffle hit. The wagyu corned beef with caramelised onion toastie is also very tasty. They also have the good old classic tostie filled with ham off the bone, cheese and tomato.
This joint does a good coffee, good for breakfast or lunch on the run and the great service will definitely have you return. Try the nitrogen infused cold drip for something different, very refreshing."
