"We came here on Friday night. As expected it was busy, but not rammed, As we walked in, were told there was standing room only and we had to order at the bar.At the bar we couldn't get anyones attention so borrowed a menu from another patron (who seemed quite reluctant to lend it, maybe as it was so hard to get in the first place), as it was so dark I got my phone torch out to read the menu and as soon as I did a waiter came up to me and told me to turn the torch off as it was too bright and that I should use the face side of the phone to read the menu. I tried this but as the place was so dark and I need glasses to read, it was impossible. We then tried to get someones attention to order a drink....after 15 minutes of waiting, despite being at the bar with no one in front of us, we left. We won't be back. It is a pity as I am a massive whisky fan and they have quite a collection."

I really liked their spacious warehouse style interiors with friendly staff on site. I am not really a huge fan of brunch but we ended up having their famous 'Eggs and Waffle Benedict ' $18 and 'Crab Scramble ' $24 .<br/ .<br/ Eggs and Waffle Benedict Basically a waffle stuffed with smoked ham hock and cheddar cheese with 2 poached eggs on top finished off with chipotle hollandaise sauce. It tasted ok but the moisture from smoked ham and cheese inside made the waffle a bit too soggy. And I definitely think that they could 've thrown in an extra egg considering the size of the waffle. But of course, beautiful presentation!<br/ .<br/ Crab Scramble Chili salsa, coriander mint salad, crispy garlic shallots, szechuan pepper caramel on toast. In terms of taste, I 'd rather choose this one over benedict. A decent portion with mild spicy kicks. I really enjoyed this experimental fusion style dish layers of different taste profiles from contrasting ingredients coming together beautifully as a whole : .<br/ Overall, not bad but kinda expected more considering its popularity. Probably won 't visit anytime soon but definitely a pleasant experience everytime I go."

"This place used to be Melbourne's best. Then they decided to branch out opening other stores. That's where it went down hill. They obviously couldn't handle the extra pressure, as both quality and service went out the door. Last time I was there, my order wasn't correct and the meat was almost boiled and not fried. I complained and was told manager wasn't there take my number and he'd call. There was no call, and that was the last time for me. I should have had burgers replaced and or side of fries free, especially when your paying $15 a burger. The beginning of the end!"

"Just went here for lunch, the service was exeptional, really polite, freindly and fast.<br/ <br/ Quite a small shop, but the environment was fairly relaxed for where its situated.<br/ <br/ The food was amazing. Nice fresh salads, fresh chiken cooked perfectly, and all for $15 with a bottle of water.<br/ <br/ Really great value and great place if a quick stop for lunch is needed."

"Very good staff. Saint burger very good (8/10) Duchess burger decent but sickly (6/10) Boring interior on the whole but some nice touches like graffiti. Could have one a lot more with the space. Very good music. Hip Hop/2000s mix. Music outside is good but too loud in some areas inside. Bac free tables are good. Expensive for one burger."
