"After only eight months into its existence in a brick-and-mortar space, Bill's is already distinguishing itself as a preeminent sandwich destination in the city. And its hip vibe and stellar food fit in perfectly in trendy East Nashville, located nearly at the epicenter of the Lockeland Springs neighborhood. Every customer is greeted as Bill, just the type of quirkiness we all expect in East Nasty. Don't worry, they'll get your name right on the actual order. It's hard to recommend a sandwich, because the menu changes every two weeks. So if you find an item you really like, just monitor the website to see when it pops up again in the rotation. The good news is that any day you walk in, the options are ALL going to be delicious! I'll describe mine.My choice was the Rachel Green, a sandwich with a bit of a cult following for Bill's fans. This hearty mound of goodness has tender turkey, caramelized cheese, cider vinegar slaw, garlicky pickle chips, and dijonnaise running down the side of a glorious sesame seed bun from Charpier's bakery on the west side of town. But my favorite part is the extra jolt of flavor AND texture from the sour cream cheddar Ruffles potato chips atop all those stupendous toppings. The freshness of all the ingredients and clever coordination of various flavors is quite evident. You can even ask for a free sample of their apple pie puffs or chili cheese puffs while you wait.Come in and try whatever catches your eye on the menu, because you literally cannot go wrong here!"
