"You couldn’t find a friendlier cafe than this. The food is excellent, we had a scone and soup, both were excellent. It has a toilet but it’s not suitable for disabled access via wheelchair. There is parking outside and as with most of Berwick, you need a parking disc. The cafe is situated by the river Tweed with good walks in both directions. "We stopped here by chance as we really wanted to use the loo on our way to see Hadrian’s wall. The quiches on display looked amazing so we decided to stop for lunch. So glad we did. We had warmed quiche with salad, chicken and chorizo salad and cheddar savoury. Everything tasted fresh, home made and most importantly delicious. Plus the service was very friendly. The cakes looked good but we had no space left so we took some away."

"Found this little cafe on the way to Hadrians wall. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Food was good and had decent sized portions. Would recommend for anyone on readying themselves for a walk on the wall."
