"We had a great time at this restaurant! Our waitress was very sweet and provided excellent service. The pan-fried cornbread was to die for. The fried chicken was incredible, as was the meatloaf."

"Wow, that was one of the worst meals I ever had from this restaurant. the fries where it's over or has been sitting for hours. where completely dried and hard. the meat was so far as it was almost black and the cuff was chew. You can never go in to talk to someone. we saw other customers with the same question. the one went through the drive and they still did not believe it right. they never have ours or repaired. I will not go back there."

"I previously had this place as 5 star. We have been there 5 times since Christmas and it was always 5 star from service to food to drinks. Today I went and had to lower the rating to 3 stars : . Previously the food was so good and today it was very strange. Things had an off taste and anything fried was VERY deep fried to the point of being DARK brown and dripping grease. Sadly I had the Fried soft crab , the truffle fries and an appetizer of hush puppies. Everything was not so great ,because the weird off taste and the grease. It's usually lightly browned and not dark and greasy. My companion also ordered his usual which was not fried anything but said it just tasted so so today. Service was still top notch as usual and the bar drinks were superb. UPDATE again. This place started out 5 stars. Then dropped to 3 stars because the food started being definitely not as good. Now , sorry to say I have to go even lower to 2 stars. We tried again and the service was so bad we just had to leave."

"This was our first time visiting Bar George, the atmosphere is a vibe!Our bartender Chris was so attentive and skilled at what he does! Great conversation too.My two favorite drinks are an Aperol Spritz (must add grapefruit juice) and a blood orange margarita.Chris nailed both drinks!Really cool spot, great happy hour deals, and fun menu items. Try it !!"

"We've been coming to this place for many years. That is why we decided to come here for the baptismal brunch of our son. There is a small room on the side of the main restaurant, which offers about 30 guests. It was absolutely perfect! We were able to come the day before and some decorations, they were so at our party! When we arrived the day of our celebration, we had such an amazing service, I feel terrible when I don't remember our server name! She was fantastic! Our food came out so fast and everything was delicious! We let our guests order from a limited menu of four entrees, Floridian French Toast, Chimichanga Chimichanga Chimichanga, Avocado Toast and raised egg sandwich. Everything came fast and perfectly cooked, our guests were very happy!! I very much propose to eat here and we will always be grateful for such a great experience for our celebration and for all wonderful meals that we have shared here as a family!"

"The breakfast panini is the best breakfast sandwich in Sarasota! Each sandwich is made fresh to order. The cheddar chimney bread is savory and crisp. You can choose between ham, turkey or bacon. They serve O A coffee, but if you're looking for a fancy drink, O A and Breaking Wave coffee are on either side.The service is very friendly. With plenty of bread, sandwich ice cream options, you will love your stop here!"

"I loved it! I was able to eat being that I have food allergies. They had GF buns. They can never 100 percent state they are GF without cross contamination but I was able to eat fries and a chicken burger!"
