"A very odd experience lovely staff, really nice setting, however, all hot drinks were lukewarm and needed re heating, I asked for a bacon sandwich and got 2 pieces of toast, not buttered, with the bacon laid on the plate beside the toast (clearly a deconstructed approach), and our friends felt their food was just okay and again, not hot… a bit disappointing shame!"

"Lovely ambience in the restaurant, and nice place for a group meal amidst the chains of Cambridge. 2 of our party said their mains were over seasoned they go very heavy on the salt here. It's also a tad overpriced. £7.50 for a crab starter half as good as the Hawksmoor's but for the same money. But given the choice between here and Cote brasserie it's still worth choosing Fitzbillies."

"That used to be my favorite place in cambridge. my mother loves cannolies and always treats herself a few here. we visited once in the month before the kovid and were just for the first time in 18 months. we are pleased that the owner is expanding and opening new places and doing new things, but unfortunately this seems to be at cost of its existing places. the quality has gone downhill, the cannolies were soggy, the filling tasted tange as if she was gone. the coffee came out warm, and the waitress seemed to take back to be replaced by a hot one. When it came back, it looked so dark when it was a latte. very disappointed and after getting to know the owner before I know that he would be so upset that his personal is lost and the dinge slips."
