"Wow, what a place. Armed before they were officially open, but was welcomed. Large beer served on tap. A calf salad is ordered from the menu board. Food was amazing. Service was very friendly. In any case come back!!!!"

"We brought visiting family here after a friend said it was her favorite restaurant in Lyon. From the time we arrived, we were not let down. The menu is set at 26 euros, but with some options having a supplementary fee. For drinks there is...a cocktail of the month and wine of the month, in addition to the normal wines/beers/etc available. For us, the cocktail was a strawberry infused kir like drink and the wine was a white wine that pairs very well with asparagus both 'of the month ' choices clearly taking into account what 's in season and freshest, and were very good! The highlight of the visit, though, is the extremely friendly staff, with the chef coming to the table to personally explain each option and how it 's prepared (in english, german or french). He also leaves some options up to the guests, such as having the soup hot or cold. Given the fact that everything sounded great, we (table of 4) managed to order every option on the menu to give it a try.. and everything was delicious! From the aperitif to the dessert and cheese board everything was top notch. We also had a nice discussion with the chef at the end, which was a perfect way to finish the dining experience! In summary, this is a great restaurant in Lyon and we will certainly go again. The food is tasty with a homemade feeling, and the staff really elevates the dinner to the point where it feels like they are personally preparing and serving to your table only. Absolutely superb!!"
