"OMG the truly best burgers, when I get a craving for one I am there, you can have whatever you want on it and some times it is hard to decide. Of course they are close to where I live so I can pop down on a whim, but they are 100% beef and the best."

"We recently visited a Dairy Queen on the advice of a friend who recommended trying one of their dollar meals. My wife and I were impressed with the fast food meal, good portions, prepared after you ordered and delivered to your table, the clean, comfortable surroundings and happy, polite staff. We thought initially this was a unique experience and was just an especially well run franchise. I later tried the DQ at Bayers lake in Halifax and the DQ in New Glasgow NS on the Westville Road with the same experience - good, fast food, clean, and excellent service all at a reasonable cost. Well done DQ for establishing high standards and delivering."

"Update 2021: I don't recommend the vampire slayer. The fries were burned and seemed refried. There wasn't enough sauce. The chicken was okay but on the dry side. I had good experiences with burgers in 2020.Update 2019: The shawarma poutine and tandoori burger were delicious. Clean restaurant, plenty of parking and seating availability. I regret not visiting sooner. I highly recommend the poutine and burger and think it is the best poutine in Halifax.Previous: Upon recommendation from friends, we visited Lazeezo around 9 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018. There was only one couple at the restaurant when we arrived. The service was quick and placing the order was easy. We ordered the Lazeezo Burger and Shawarma poutine. The burger's beef patty was tasteless, the bun was soggy and plain, and there was overpowering amount of artificial-tasting sauce. The poutine's shawarma meat was dry, and the fries tasted similar to frozen varieties in grocery store and did not have enough salt. I really wanted to like the food here, because I heard positive reviews, however, I was disappointed especially since I try to avoid unhealthy food and it is doubly disappointing when it doesn't even taste good."

"The last time I went to Smitty's was out west, and their reputation wasn't the greatest, which is probably I've waited until now to go to this local one near my house. I was very pleasantly surprised though. The service was prompt, friendly and excellent and the food was way better than I remember it being. I ordered a custom breakfast that wasn't on the menu and the waitress brought it out exactly as I requested. Very impressed. Love the bottomless coffee as well. The menu is so huge though, making a decision can be tough. Can't go wrong with their all-day breakfast though."
