"Let me start by saying I am not a carrot cake person but my husband is so I bought him a slice of cake from here when in the Fort Washington area. I was looking for a dessert spot and at the recommendation of a local restaurant waitress, who said Carrot Top was well known I went. WELL--I agreed to a forkful when my husband raved about it and for the first time EVER--I enjoyed carrot cake! This place is the BEST! You like carrot cake or want to try carrot cake--GO HERE!"

"A new owner took over during the shutdown and really improved the menu of the facility. If you're not here in a few years, try again! There are tons of vegan options: soups, salads, burgers, sweet potatoes, zoodles (Zucchini pasta), real pasta, quinoa bowls, tacos, cheesecakes, cakes and much more. All vegan and vegetarian items are marked on the menu. Also most non-veg items have a vegan option when you request it. There are tons of GF options, but they are not marked (yes). There is a small GF area in the menu, but *many* other things in the entire menu have GF options (just ask). This is the Upper East Side, so nothing will be cheap. But prices are very reasonable in terms of everything else in the neighborhood."

"Had steak shrimp combo platter, mofongo, and drinks. Drinks are strong and good value. Mofongo was good but steak shrimp was lacking flavor. Worst of all, we got food poisoning after dinner. Will not have food here again :"

"Eating is so healthy that my mouth is thanking me every time. I used to be for her tofu box, but they hired her. that was my favorite. I like almost all her meals. their tai nudels are fantastic! (the erdnus sauce is at the top.) the sweet potato friries and -edamame beans are always a staple removal. I had her stuff and it made me like a million dollars. her tees are a good way to wash it (I took her ingwer tee bag) regarding dessert, I love her sweet potato cake, and I know that her tofu cheese cake has a certain potential (the recipe could be improved in the long term)."

"I would recommend the lunch menu, the portions are smaller in comparison to the original a la carte,' but it is a good opportunity to try different aromes. I don't think anyone can avoid cleaning up the hot bread they serve warm. highlights for me were the ny travel medium, which was exactly as ordered and the cheese cake was cooked."
