"I witnessed an old lady working behind the meat counter wearing dirty gloves touching boxes and opening and closing doors who eventually with the same gloves tried to serve me meat. And when I called her out on it she scolded me for not wearing a mask. And then when I contacted management they seemed to not care at all. Overall this Hy-Vee location is really weird and scary in a way so I will definitely not return."

"Went here for a bite a beer and some talk with a friend. Nice place. Got there after happy hour and closed it down. I think they closed about 9pm on a Friday but maybe pub not bar so closing earlier. Anyway liked the food. I had The Grinder I assume namedfor the sausage (ground) and ground beef. The sauce was very good. Smothered in melted cheese mmmm. I had the baked potato withbutter and sour cream. Also good. I had the 24oz Tip The Cow. Mmm nice and dark. That went well with the heavier meat andpotatoes. Friend had already eaten so he just had a creme brulee. That 's actually really cool in my opinion that a pub servessomething unique like creme brulee. He had an angry orchard. Good time good food. Friendly waitress."

"It was my first time, and I tried the lunch buffet. Tried it all. Delicious! There were tons of different meals to treat your taste buds. My understanding from an awesome friend is that it is true to the original dishes and from more than one region. They even had vegetarian alternatives for those who needed it. Loved the tea. Check their times before going, but you will definitely enjoy the atmosphere. Service: Dine in"

"If your looking for a cheap but delicious bite or just craving something sweet, Freddy's is the places. The food is great for the price. I go usually just for the ice cream. My favourite is the dirt n worms. And If I'm feeling more hungry than usual I'll get the bacon steak burger. Environment is chill, service great but it's a bit slow if you order food. I've never worked in a place like this before but I assume people in the drive through have priority. If you order ice cream, they'll have it ready right away. But still, it's definitely worth the wait. Love this place!"

"Got lunch for a business event on 2 separate days. Was not impressed either time. The first day was Ceaser salads with chicken. They forgot the chicken so someone had to go back for it. The chicken was completely flavorless, wasn't even seasoned with salt and pepper. The lettuce was not fresh and was old, with many pieces already brown. The second day was soup and sandwiches. We threw away the soup because it looked really gross. The sandwiches were decent but not very good. The chips were good, except that half of them were burnt."

"Cedar Rapids has several Indian restaurants and Paradise is close to the top of the list. The food is excellent the Chana masala is amazing and complex, and the Aloo Gobi Curry was equally delicious. Portions are generous and the food was spicy without overwhelming. As some others have noticed, there is room for improvement in service when we were greeted, the person seemed distracted and gave us only a menu. Another person served the food and he was more friendly and attentive."

"What a magnificent find! We stumbled upon this last weekend while in town for a baseball tournament. Food is amazing!!! Icing on the cake was the WSP and Grateful Dead theme. We made another stop this weekend to enjoy the patio and another outstanding mealenjoyed by all! Kuddos to you Drea, you are killing it!"
