"While staying close, I spontaneously tried this place. the tikka chicken to take away for 11 euros was a really large and decent portion. . . the chicken was succulent and had been marinated for a while, my dish was accompanied by basmati rice and vegetables. The portions are large and will certainly fill you! I loved it so much that I returned a few nights later and I took another tikka dish and again, I was not disappointed! give this place only 4 to 5 stars because they have no beer and it was the only drawback."

"We came across this lovely restaurant whilst in Lille shopping area,being veggies we were pleased to see the menu catered for us.The welcome was very warm and the patron was particularly pleasant. We opted for the lunchtime menu at euros for three courses.Again no...problem for veggies. I opted as a starter battered aubergine my wife onion bhajis,both arrived swiftly and hot with salad and nann breads,lovely!These were followed by sag paneer and dhal served with pipping hot saffron rice,both dishes superb.As it was cold outside we washed it down with a red designed for Indian food,it was Southern French but with an Indian name(which I have forgotten).Very good.The desert was a semolina based Indian dish,again very good. In all great,we'll be there next time in Lille!"

"Based on the previous review of Ustaad71, I decided to try this restaurant. it is a very small restaurant but what their lack of space, they compensate for a good value for money. their nan is made on site during your order. It's cooked in a normal oven and not in a tandoor but good, I think no one can make the difference. the lamb curry was succulent and I loved the thick vindaloo curry sauce that accompanied it. To finish, I ordered a kulfi malai (glazed cream based on concentrated milk, cardamom, cashew nuts and pistachio). Funny enough, they have Indian curry on one side of the menu and pizza on the other side. not much choice but it is a very good value for money."

"Arrived at 8pm, the entrance arrived 1h after, we waited 50 minutes more to have the bad surprise that one of the dishes served was not the one ordered... We preferred to leave! I don't say about the quality of the dishes but the portions were not especially generous. I'm not coming back!"
