"It doesn't have a fancy frontage like others in the street it is, as it says in the name, a cafe. However, the food and service more than makes up for the plain surroundings. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was exceptional. I'm only here for a couple of days and I think another visit is on the cards. If you're ever looking for food on Elm Row /Leith Walk don't pass this gem by, give it a try."

"I ordered a take away last night which overall was fine except for the fact they forgot to add the poppadums and my vegetable korma which was a tad on the spicy side, which resulted in me leaving half it. So it's best to remind the restaurant you want it extremely mild to avoid disappointment."

"The outlet is situated at Leith Walk, Broughton. First time i visited this place i didn't like the food much however my second visit was memorable one. i went there with my colleague at second occasion. he knew the place and had some word with Attendant as we enter in the outlet and also went inside the Kitchen to talk to Chef. Surprise to me that he is so known to the place. When he came back he had a smile on his face and said please give me review of the food after having a dinner today. Seriously the food was so dam yummy. With Kobra Draught, Seekh kabab and Tandoori chicken were just out of the world. both the dishes were so damn spicy and yummy I can't explain it even, That reminded me of Delhi's Spicy chicken. My colleague explained that it is so spicy only on his request as restaurant don't serve such spicy food normally. We went multiples times there whenever we feel like having very spicy food. Restaurant changes its preparation upon our request and mad yummy dishes. loved it. My review is based on my visit in 2012."

"Food is great, but (non delivery lets them down badly. 50 mins we waited for a delivery this time, after having a previous bad experience when a 30 minute order took over an hour. This time their website said 45 mins. On phoning to enquire how long the delay would be, we were told the driver was ‘on his way’. When we asked how long that would be from that point, we were told 20-30 mins more. (So 70/80 mins from order point. When we sought to clarify, how it could be both ‘on its way’ and ‘20/30 mins’ more, we were told the driver takes a few at once but no apology or attempt to sort it out. Just silence. We cancelled. Thankfully we’d opted for cash on delivery, because that gave us that option. We won’t be back a third time! Of that you can be certain."
