"My friend and I went down here for a nice late brunch around 1 and with high expectations (we had heard so much of Cora's in general) sat down and looked at the extensive menu. Now while there are many interesting items and combinations, it seemed to me that they were much like fast food, very nice to look at on the menu, but when served look much smaller and flat.The Breakfast Poutine and The golden brioche were ordered. The waiter was great, very fast. The food, not so great. The poutine was barely even warm, the thick sauce, poorly place and not really the right consistency just dumped off to the side of the dish. The french toast was slightly burnt, and disappointing as, when you look at the photo it looks like it is covered in caramelized bananas. While I could do without the extra step for flavour, this poor french toast was covered in a sad cross between corn syrup and food colouring, it did not taste anything thing like a caramel sauce and was just mucking up the whole thing. My dish was also served barely warm.Considering that we were there when hardly anyone else was, maybe two other tables, I would have expected the kitchen staff to have the time or training to better prepare the dishes. The food just lacked and depth and wasn't worth the money if it wasn't even going to be served fresh.I will not be coming back to this location, I would consider trying another one for a second chance."
