"Came for breakfast and not disappointed. First time in Montreal, and I tend to order local food when possible so decided to order cretons on the side. Well, I probably butchered the pronunciation because I got the server to smirk a little (unless the nice young lady was simply thinking "who the heck orders cretons?" :). Anyway, was quite pleased with the menu offerings. Each member of my family ordered something different...a cheese omelette that was huge, a smoked salmon platter, pancakes and eggs/potatoes dish. All were done nicely...flavorful and large portions. Service was a little slow (I started to get nervous that my meter would run out and, btw for those new to the area, parking is NOT east nor convenient in Montreal - and that's coming from a New Yorker!), but the place was packed and they otherwise seemed efficient. In many ways it reminded me of a cleaner, modern NYC breakfast place. Definitely recommended. Yes, even the cretons!!"

"Don't expect to have a quick or even a rather normal lunch experience here, this is not where they are the best. However, after a warm welcome, all the experience is fun. The staff is very friendly, joking with you, excellent !The food is also very good, we've had a cheese fondue with delicatessen meat, well served and excellent. I have to admit that I have eaten better ones in France but this one was still well done.Prices are reasonable which is a good news and the ambiance is sweet, warm. The interior decoration is well done as well. Watch out, this is closed after 6pm, no dinner."

"Stopped in for a traditional smoked meat sandwich while waiting for the train. One word...WOW. The fresh rye bread was overloaded with thinly sliced warm smoked meat (I believe it to be Lester 's). What an excellent sandwich. Too me a mustard fan, could have used a bit more. The fries were fine, house made. The slaw and polish pickle excellent. All that for $15 it is an excellent value for the price. And a treat. I will definitively return for this sandwich. The best I 've had and best value. The service was great, Very good staff. Clean environment. The clients are pleasant, this is home to the Mtl Canadiens. Hey, they had the game on TV. They even have a jersey on display of the Blond Demon . Can 't get any better."

"Recently close, and ordered a few times. The souvlaki pita were decent, but the pizza was very bland, dough and sauce were tasteless. For the third time, a Greek salad ordered, and the dressing and feta were overright rancid, almost gaged when I... shook it. Lose me as a customer. Unacceptable. Apparently had better days and cut corners."

"I ordered an omelet containing salami, hot dogs, peppers and onions. I asked that paprika should not be included. When I got my bill, I was charged for a custom omelet where each ingredient was loaded separately and therefore cost more! Less ingredients with...increased costs!! Management wouldn't hear my concern that what they didn't make sense. I was never informed that an item would leave my Omelette custom. I was a regular here and they lost my business. There are many Brunch Resto in Montreal who appreciate their customers. this is not one!!"
