"As per the norm, restaurants in Galveston or not great. This restaurant had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't fantastic either. My son liked his kids cheese pizza. Cocktail was overly sweet. My husband got the falafel pita and it was mediocre, fries don't appear to be fresh cut, maybe frozen. I ordered the pork chop special and the pork chop was dry and overcooked, the sauce looked unappetizing and had broken (the taste was mediocre). The steamed vegetables were good, but wish there was more than 3 little cauliflower, 1 carrot, 2 broccoli."

"We visited the menu on the line, but found that the menu was reduced and the dishes we came for were not available. We had a reservation of 5:30 and we were filled the second table, but we were told that the special was sold out and two of the five designs beers on the beverage card were not available. Our server was embarrassing and we can't keep him responsible, but it almost got weird. After we found a redfish. We said it was a red snapper and later that it was actually salmon. I guess it's all red, right?"

"My family frequents the West End of Galveston, Texas often, and when we do, one of our meals always includes a pizza from Mario's Pizza. Our favorite is the cheese pizza. One caveat is that if you are ordering for pickup, make sure you place your order (easiest to do online) at least an hour in advance. This is especially true during times like Spring Break. If you plan on eating in, realize that the seating is limited. The food is delicious, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu."
