"This place is a true profit for the city and a real eye-catcher visually and content. Conceptually one works here with the idea of the Berlin princess gardens. On the occasion of a last annual exhibition, the restaurant moved its offer completely to regional, seasonal and sustainable products and linked small regional organic producers. The menu speaks volume, but more. The situation could not be better. Very nice and original integrated into the State Art Hall, with a unique, high-quality terrace and many squares in front of the entrance, almost directly on the Lichtenthaler Allee. Here you can sit on jewelry chairs and have warming blankets available. There is also a covered transition from the nearby Museum Frieder Burda. But now for dinner. The mixed cheese plate is wonderful with regional specialties and freshly cooked onions (the hit! for about 15 euros. Also recommended are the baked black bread slices with different cheese and vegetables, also with pear. Cost 6.50 Euro. The biggest surprise, however, is the Red Beet – a horror for me, here very fine earthly, with acidic primer. Aha experience. Quality wine from Baden. To get the 5 euros for 0.2 – with godseidank sometimes generously gifted. Not even tried, but marveled in the side table: generous cake pieces, very high and really powerful looking. The service is well placed for jokes. It is served quickly. It is a pity that the staff have a difficult way to the terrace, over stone stairs, so they have to pierce the doors with the elbow. You should also be on foot as a visitor. The toilets are also a bit gloomy, but well maintained. I don't know how to park by car – I came myself on foot, the nearest bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. All in all a wonderful place with a sympathetic concept."
